If Evans was willing to come off the bench then we'd have a potential future starter. OKC has Harden coming off the bench.

If this guy had a Harden jump shot, this conversation would not be happening.

I've seen it with Brent Barry, Jamal Crawford, Larry Hughes etc. Evans is a ball dominant two-guard in the mold of Kobe Bryant. Evans can create shots at will. Unfortunately, he's stuck playing for a joke of an organization. He's in a situation similar to John Wall's in Washington.

I think Evan can be reclaimed and turned into a hell of player if develops a J and goes to a stable organization. Unfortunately, that means the Knicks are probably a bad option for Evans at this point of his career.

+1

Anyone who thinks this kid sucks needs to have the NBA pass revoked. This kid was 3rd in ROY voting, has good vision, creativty, passing abilty, his jumper is suspect as hell, avg defender in big games, but is a bonifide asset to a good team.

I like him. He's got a nice handle and gets to the hole very well but every other part of his game is questionable. His J is about as good as fields'. Who do we give up and if we do pull it off where does he fit into the rotation. Plus, he's a guy who needs the ball in his hands which means less touches for Melo and another guy who cant stretch the floor at all. He's a nice player I'm just not sure he fits unless were looking to replace someone.
