Totally agree, look how bad our record is since Lin and Amare went down.

Yeah we really suck! I love Lin fans.

I must be getting old..I keep thinking its sarcasm..

Wait, was that sarcasm? If so, I apologize ShellTopAdidas.

What's our record since Lin and Amare went down?

After today, 7-4 which is a 62% winning percentage and would be 52-30 record over a full season.

If only Woodson was our coach all season we probably would be in the 5th or 6th seed

Its not fair to say Melo hasnt made others better. I think he tries and sometimes does, but its hard to compare it to a PG. Melo obviously isn't, nor he has to be. Lin's game of penetrating, with his quickness and his vision, can consistently get better shots for others. Ideally, Melo does what he is doing now while Lin gets him and others easier shots.

Unfortunately we are stuck with our aged PG rotation of Davis and Bibby. Its a shame Douglas has fallen so down that he is not even an option now.

Both great but not comparable.

Losses were to - Miami, @Chicago, @Atlanta, @Indiana and @Toronto.

@Toronto being the only comparable loss. None of the Linsanity road games were > .500 teams and the 2 home games (lal, Dal) are both < .400 road teams.

?

Wins over Milwaukee twice, Orlando twice, Cleveland, Chicago, and Washington. Losses to Atlanta, Indy, Chicago and Miami. But really, 7-4 or 7-5 with two of our three best players hurt and with a pretty brutal schedule is pretty damned good in my book.

Dude, Lin gets others involved so teams can't focus on one player scoring all the points. Melo got 40 + today and we still lost! The only other player that got double digits was JR. Good teams will shut that down quick. Knicks gotta get others involved early or we going home early in the playoffs....and yes I am a lin fan, and not ashamed to admit it!

Good teams are not shutting down Melo - c'mon who is shutting him down?

And Melo makes Melo better? What the heck does that mean? Does he not need Lin?

We all miss Lin but we can also appreciate how well the knicks are doing. Even without LIN.

How did Lin do in Miami??????

1) Melo is not the on;y one who can score on James... Durant

2) Melo got players involved.. they just couldnt shoot!!! Great game overall.. the shots were there.. Disgusted with Fields game though.

So you saying Melo can win a 7 game series against chicago or miami all by himself??? You don't think those teams will find a way to shut that down especially if no one else is involved, and we're relying heavy on Melo??? Your crazy! And honestly, it doesn't matter how many points Melo scores, if no one else is involved we're done. (see todays game) With out Lin, this team is very predictable.

You obviously have not read any of my posts and even in this one I in no way state the knicks can win with Melo alone. And that's what he is - ALONE. Can Melo be stopped? No! But he can't score a hundred points.

What does Melo makes Melo better mean? Does Lin coming back help him?

And again I ask being that you think that having Lin definitely means a win - How did Lin do against Miami?

I don't understand why this is about Lin and Melo. This Loss had nothing to do with Lin or Melo. This one is on Baron Davis, Fields and Shumpert they didn't show up for the game. 4-18 shooting between the three. If they managed 3 points each the Knicks would have won.
If this is who Melo really is, He is top 10 no doubt!!!
