I mean, I would like for someone else to have Melo's abilities and talent cuz I don't like that many things about melo, but if he's playing like he did last game, then I'll have no problem throwing away my fondness for humbleness and saying "****it, MELO I WUUV YOOUU!" like a little 10 year old kid.

It's one thing to support your team but to blindly throw all your nuts into the horse wagon over a couple regular season wins?

Now this guy is the messiah?

What a man does is what he does: the history does not get erased.

Dam, can I get a ride in that Delorean of yours?

I'm giving my left nut to Doctors Without Borders if Carmelo wins even a single series with New York.

Real talk.

It amazes me how someone's small man issue opinions can be related to other parts of their anatomy.

By the way, the doctors called, they have enough USDA Grade E raisins, thank you.

martin, how many Melo hate threads do we actually need from just one poster?

If you're going to complain and hate when then team is doing badly, fair enough. But if you're going to complain and hate on the team when they're actually doing well, then I don't get when you're ever actually going to be happy- the season must be one long stretch of misery for you.

Yeah, people are hyped, the team still has it's problems and who knows what tomorrow will bring- but for the moment just lighten up and enjoy the win- it was a good one and great to watch.

Melo is better than what we had. Nobody was riding Dirk a few years ago either.

Melo is only 27 and his game isn't predicated on athleticism. We have time.

Fact: Guy gets dropped in the first round close to 90% of his career in the NBA. 9 out of 10, his team is losing in the first round.

Fact: Guy carries serious character flaws. You think this is fixed now? No, it is not fixed, there is just some caulk in the cracks, so it looks decent.

Fact: Nets went something like 18-0 when Frank first took over. That's how it goes.

Fact: Orlando is burning, Chicago was playing with Rose in his first game back. Guy was terrible. Barely squeezed it, still.

Fact: Ain't nothin'.

Fact: Don't get hyped.

Fact: It will take more than 14 games to make True Basketball Fans forget the spit he loogied at The Good People.

Fact: Who does that? Who throws a tantrum to get a guy fired? Then suddenly turns it up?

Players like Melo don't win championships, brah. Hate to break that slice of bread for you.

I'm just looking out. Real talk.

We lost Lin and Amare to possible season ending injuries and we are supposed to care that Orlando is burning and Rose just came back from injury?

If you want to hate on Melo it is what it is, but why not root for guys like Shumpert or Tyson or Novak? Maybe even Fields, Smith and Douglas? Or root for a coach like Woodson?

He even stated that he doesn't even watch the games anymore. This guy marburyand1 is ruining this forum. Too much negativity by a non fan.
fishmike 9/27/2024 11:00 PM Ug I hate this. The idea of Towns is great until you see what a pussy he is. Jules is a dog. DD was a flamethrower locked up cheap for 3 more years. First Leon move I hate

Marbury.. I wasn't the biggest fan of the Melo trade

I wasn't the biggest fan of him quitting on MDA

But if you've been watching the games he's been playing defense, rebounding, and has had a good balance between scoring/passing.

In case you didn't read this in the other thread:

Saying that Melo is wack because he never got out of the 1st round is just as illogical as saying MDA's system will never work because he never won a championship.

Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

Marblob never ruined my time on this board. On the contrary actually. And his negativism isnt that extreme, I mean, back when we had Mike D, there was no end to the negativity towards him and his team.

OBM is really just saying:

"don't get hurt"!

Its really a nice public service he has to try to protect Knick Nation from "believing".

Actually I get the jest of what he is saying because as soon as the team loses to a team we should have beating SOME of y'all go a bit rabid as if the team was destined for greatness and choked big time.

But, that is in fact every fans choice to go to what ever levels they wish to go to.

What we know in this short season is a top seed team can fall very fast due to injury or fatigue. Maybe its Miami, maybe its Chicago.

I do believe a lower seed can make a strong run. Look at Boston. They might have peaked too early but they are surging to the finish line!

Indiana despite its lapse against us has a very good young core and they can make a run to the conf finals.

And our knicks if we get healthier and not go backwards could be the most dangerous team to face in the first round.

Not probable but possible.

if it is........

Then you have have hope.

If you have hope, you can have fun.

Let it go OBM, you sound like an overprotective anal snit who enjoys being "Correct" more than enjoying the moment. Statistically you may be correct but what fun is it?

Exactly

If you have hope, you can have fun.

Think of it this way.

If you enjoy flushing things down the toilet, only smelly kids want to play with you.

LOL.. Like I always say, haters really don't matter.

Martin lets these types post until they hang themselves, though. They'll get a couple opf warnings, and pay the price if they don't chill out.

The trolling is starting to get a bit much from that one, so I am sure that Mardy Mar will deal with ol' "MarburyAnd1Crossover" soon enough. I've seen several of those types talk themselves into being smited down and perma-banned.

It's time the witch hunt for trolls got underway, anyway. The incessant negativity isn't a good look for this board. Once a few are made examples of, some of the other potential trolls, orcs and uruk-hais might get the hint and fall back from piggybacking on the shenanigans.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Very Good Post. Negativity is dumb especially when our team is playing so well
