Don't make me go back to the lockout and the Shump muscle/fat ratio thread.

As long as Shump never becomes the new [any other team].

I like this kid, much more than either Lin or Novak. Yeah, it's racial, but I'm white so deal with it.

Really real talk.

Shumpert is a man

His relentless defense down the stretch exhausted the Bucks.

Beautiful, gut it out win.

I've said it a few times this year. On defense, he reminds me of Gary Payton.

The Baccalaureate Bootleg Tapes

16 points, six rebounds, five assists and three steals....one turnover in a game-high 42-plus minutes... playing out of position.

“The rook didn’t get any time off the second half, so I know he’s beat up after tonight’s game but I needed to get this game. It was important for our team.” - Mike Woodson

Q: "What is it about?"

Winning.

“I just knew we needed this win. I was just going to go hard every play. I’ve always been comfortable handling the ball. We understand, the guards on the team, that our roles are going to switch at any given time, depending on who is hot. We all can do so much and we’re all ready to do everything. Everything’s about winning now.”

Correct answer Mister Shumpert.

Shumpert is a beast on defense but not that great in this game. He was constantly beat off the dribble (unless he was doing it on purpose(JVG) ). Ellis is hard to stay in front of and Jennings is too. He does better against less speedy guards. These 2 are not really that guardable.

Also, he drives to the hoop like he is trying to avoid injury - way too hesitant.

He is much better than he knows. A little more confidence on offense will come. He is just a rookie.

Ellis is just a tough cover/matchup, speed and size wise for Shumpert. Sorta like how Wes Welker runs circles around Darrelle Revis.

Ellis had his game on last nights tahts for sure. It is really hard for anybody to look good against Shumpert. No wonder why Golden State hates their owner

Iman Shumpert will only get better with reps and experience.

He played through physical setbacks and never complained.

We dig that about him.

I remember seeing him getting screened and then losing his man, but you can't really do much against that. How many times did you see him actually just get beat off off the dribble?

Q. ems - How many times did you see him actually just get beat off off the dribble?

A. None. Nada. Zip. Zero.

Shumpert for life.
