Haha, he was celebrating man. Also, check out Bynum at the 50 second mark of that video...HILARIOUS!

LOL @ Bynum.

Sorry guys those are man dunks, so either come hard or don't come at all.

you are missing the point. Just about any big in the league can 'man dunk' (well, except maybe Jeffries:)...except it's a foul and would be called as such

You are missing the point. If any big man in the league can 'man dunk' like that, what conspiracy theory/social injustice/evil motive are you going to provide to explain why we're only seeing the Griffin highlights? Or you talkin' bout practice?

The man can plain out-elevate just about anyone and he's effing 6'10". I for one would love to see all those offensives in a Knick uniform.

Haters gon' hate.

You can spin it any way you want. It's still a foul.Either call it or let everyone do it

Let's see everyone do it.

Not sure about all of that. before his injury he was back to being all-star caliber. I think he will be back this year and even stronger next year with a full training camp.

you know what, it's even worse: NY signed an Amare that was clearly a step down from what those highlights are about, and now he is another step down from that.

After watching the video it's almost unfathomable to me that Amare can get blocked by the rim like he does these days. LOL

in both the last two videos, Amare is trying to elevate from a stationary position and finish against two defenders. in fairness, that's not easy no matter who you are. it's not like Griffin is just jumping from a standstill and rocking dudes. he's exploding into his jump because he's well set up.

I think you need to watch it again. Did you see where Amare was when his man went to set the pick? Have you ever played organized basketball? That is not OK!! You need to get your ass up on the pick instead of being a lazy ass defender and hanging back at the rim.

Watch Rookies video and see how many dunks are "from a stationary position".

Getting blocked from behind by a guard? NOT COOL.

TOAST!

He was hanging back on the pick but that's how all the Knicks have played all season(not that it's fundamentally sound) but the ballhandler went away from the pick so in the end it was the guards fault(sorry I can't see who is who my phone is pretty blurry)
