Al Bianchi, the GM at the time, didn't agree with Pitino's full court defensive press. As I recall he thought the guys in the pros were too good for it to be sustainable. The point is some guys are just college coaches and some are pro coaches. I think they just have different approaches to the game.
I like how Woodson is coaching. If he makes it to next year I'd like to see Patrick Ewing on his staff.

I liked Cal a lot when he was in NJ. I don't think he is a good fit for the Knicks and I would like to see Woodson keep the job. That being said, I have heard a lot of rumors regarding him to the Knicks on talk radio. One guy said that he heard Cal might get 10% ownership. There is also a lot of speculation about Cal being motivated to make the jump if it turns out he is going to face more NCAA violations.

Some coaches are more fit to be in College. calipari came up once and it didnt work. I'd rather have woodson here. Woodson and a fully healthy knicks team would be a dangerous team
