Also quit bellyaching OP if the rest of the posters don't want to strictly adhere to how you framed the winning streaks. It's about the Knicks winning games. Forget flukes and gimmicks! Lin is for real, and it looks like the Knicks are too.

Great post.

Agreed. I'm stoked at how the Knicks are playing as a team and winning games now and still guys want to divide the team up. They all wear blue and orange. Go Knicks!!!!!

"Round 2" is an absolute TEAM effort. Amar'e's coming alive. Melo is motivated. JR and Novak are fire from the outside. Lin is now a cog in this machine, and I love it. The gimmick is gone...

That said...let Woodstock 2012 continue!

+1 it's pretty cool seeing Lin's learning curve in real time.

whats great about it is thats its simply legit. Lin can play. MDA's system gave him the circumstances to open people's eyes up regarding his talent, but Lin's play wasnt a product of that system. He's a baller.

he's becoming a real favorite. I hate getting attached to young players on this team because we usually trade them off for old ones, but with Dolan brokering Asian sponsership deals its obvious Lin is here to stay and be one of the faces of this franchise for years to come, and I gotta saw Im pretty excited about it

fish.mike - So what have we learned about all the sportwriters and paid pundits, who are hired to inform, blathering about the demise of Lin and Linsanity, due to his dependance on Mike D'Antoni and his Magic Point Guard Machine?

The NYPost "Rest In Peace" headline took the proverbial cake.

Unless (ATM) Lin starts to real suck for a long time, he is going nowhere!!

I don't know about woodsanity, this team is finally playing close to there potential as a group.

This team should be top 3 in the league easily. Like NIXLUVA said, linsanity came out of nowhere, like walking in the freezing cold stepping into starbucks for a coffe and stepping back outside to 70 degree weather..

That kid put up some retarded #s..he had ppl who never even watch the sport rooting all over the world...he has fans in every arena in the nba, his popularity went from 0 to a million in the span of a 8 days..When he really really figures it out, he's probably a first ballot HOF..

I hope woodson has the kind of success JVG had cause he certainly as the squad to make him look like the best coach in the NBA

Woodsanity has a LONG way to go before it will even be worthy of being in the same sentence as the original Linsanity.

The original was great because it was so unexpected and magical, and Lin came from nowhere. The story was great, I'll give you that.

However, this version is MUCH better, reason? Simple, this version is succeeding with all of our players. Stars are doing well as well as role players, we are playing as a team, and oh yeah, Lin is still ballin, just under tighter control.

Other difference , is this coaches.

Say What?

He hasn't played every team in the league yet. Sheesh.

Why not allow Jeremy Lin to play just one full season before you crown him?

Im not crowning him..the kid has a lot of potential...5 star potential..when you make history your good..when he plays well look at the win loss column..he's responsible for atleast 10 wins no matter who it was against..and dont tell me we played nobody cause we were nobody.
