I don't follow the Jets or the AFC all that much...but what happened to Sanchez? I thought he was supposed to a QB on the rise.

I do know what offense the Jets will run with their new OC but I think the Jets offense(last Year) suits a guy like Tebow better than the Broncos offense did. Broncos O was way to predictable. At least the Jets PA on first downs and use rollouts. I have a feeling the Jets are not sold on Sanchez and will take a look at Tebow as a real Qb but tell the media he is just a wildcat Qb. Also, people act like he will just stay the way he is and not get better with an offseason.

I love it, Barbie Sanchez is finally going to be pushed for the starting QB position.

I read a jets forum, and alot of people were feeling that Mark went from having to have a good these season to getting 2 years to show he's the QB of the future. With this signing, Sparano as the OC and Rex as the head coach, there will be great pressure on MS!!!!!!!! Love it!!!!!!!!

I was shocked it actually happened, but I think it's a good pick up. We did miss having a real threat in the wildcat. there's a lot this guy can do if you work with him. I think Sparano is gonna love having this kid.

I am so happy I'm not a Jets fan. This has to be one of the dumbest moves ever. Why in the hell do they extend a QB who didn't deserve it in the first place and then try to trade for a backup QB who should be a RB?

The best thing that could happen is the trade doesn't go through and Tebow Time winds up in Jacksonville. GO BIG BLUE!!!

I couldn't agree more. Great pickup. Plus he is actually a threat to throw unlike Smith who really wasn't a legitimate threat to throw. This could work out great, especially since Sanchez needs someone to push him.

If anything QB competition will only push Sanchez to work to keep his job. He better squash the beef with Santonio, or Tebow going to take his job.

Nothing good can come from this. Sanzhez is used to being coddled and when 50,000+ start chanting Tebow he'll fold. Tebow then gets the starting nod and gets stuffed more often than not and overthrows Holmes by 10 yards. Jets fan boo. LOL
