Shumpert. Hands down whenever he attacks the basket. Then Jeremy Lin. Then Amar'e Stoudamire/Tyson Chandler

Number one is probably Iman's suffocating defense on the outside. Man puts out more fires than Smokey the Bear.

While we haven't seen it as much as I'd hoped this year, I still love watching Melo when he's on fire. The excitement of knowing that shot's in before it's even taken. In the mean time, I'd like to thank Steve Novak for doing his best impression.

And currently, I'm enjoying watching Amar'e trying to regain last year's form. Still has a bit to go, but I'm very excited to see him relevant again.

My style of play in my own career was a little like Novak, so natually i enjoy watching him come off the bench to do what he does. My favorite player of all time was Allan Houston, and i would try to model my game off of him. Nothing better than watching a pure shooter get into a zone.

Lin is a close second because of his toughness and intensity.

Melo is 3rd because of his natural ability to take over the game at any time.

My style is a bit closer to Dr J

That's a fair point. The players I named like Lin and Fields might not be the best pound for pound but I really appreciate players who never stop working on their game. I've come down hard on them at times but I respect the fact that they aren't satisfied with their skill set and keep working at it. Stat and Melo's games haven't really shined this season so its hard for me to list them as my favorites at this point in time.

I love great passing so sometimes Lin is great to watch too. And landry's creative driving.

Good question- I'm not sure I have a clear cut favourite. I like Amar'e a lot, just becase of what he did for us last year- it's made watching him this year really frustrating, but every game I watch, I'm sat there hoping he'll turn it around.

Loved watching Lin during that streak. Tyson Chandler too- his dunks always look nasty, and I like his defense.

I like Shump too- I always find watching good defense more exciting than good offense, and when he's on lock-down mode, it's a joy to watch.

It's a tie between Jared and Shump on D. Love seeing Jared cover the entire court on D! He's had some amazing plays since he's been back. Likewise Shump's smothering D, Tyson's toughness and Lin's surprising quickness on D. Lin had some games where he was visibly tired, but now he seems to have gotten his second wind. Lin has really been great on D against some really quick guards. It's not humanly possible to stop D Rose, but he actually made some good plays against him.

On offense, Novak. Knowing a shot's going in while it's still in the air is a great feeling.

On defense, Shumpert. Seeing the one man trap is amazing, and this is without a true or extended offseason, preseason, and training camp.

For consistent great play, Tyson and Jared. Their plays don't always count on the stat sheet, but you can always remember that key charge, that key stop or block that changed the momentum in the game to the Knicks favor.

Gotta say Lin first. Before he came, watching the Knicks made my eyes bleed! I love Shumps game. His D is off the hook and he's only a rookie. Then Novak, and TC. Our stars really haven't wowed me this year, especially the one we spent a boat load for. Hopefully that'll change.

can we get a little love for JJ? I love when he draws charges and dives on the floor for loose balls. I would love to see some other players on the floor do this.

“[Woodson] stays on top of guys throughout the game, in shootaround, practices, before the game, during the game, halftimes,’’ Tyson Chandler said. “He keeps you on your toes.’’

Top to bottom, it's all good............

In no particular order:

Jared Jeffries is the guy who continually amazes me. Both ends of the court. Every basket he makes is amazing! Activity is his middle name.

Tyson for being the hardworking leader he is. See 2.20 in video below for proof of credibility.

Shump because the fact that he has no d in his name is preposterous!

Lin because he is Lin.

Force Fields for his effort and commitment forever.

Melo for the drama

Novak for
