More reason why I was calling for Dantoni's head after losing 9 of 10 before Linsanity happened or before the boston game & stupid Philly & Chicago game when it was evident he lost the team during this 6 game losing steak
MDA didn't lose the team. The team was fractured by the fight between Melo and MDA. Not to mention the lack of effort by STAT. The biggest reason that this team has looked so good last 2 games is that the starters never got this kind of effort from STAT and Melo until MDA left and then all of a sudden they knew that their excuse was gone. How could they go out and not play hard now? It would only expose them as the source of the problem, which it still did, cuz we can see that they clearly could've always played this hard.
STAT and Melo as we've been saying before MDA left were the major culprits in the team losing. Ever since they both came back neither guy has really put in Max Effort. STAT due to laziness and Melo due to being selfish. Now magically they're playing hard??? Come on!!!
Logic will get you nowhere.
Oh I can't wait for - the team started winning because we changed the coach, so it must be the coaching threads.
These last two games more than anything proved that Melo's sulking and Amare's lack of leadership and their willingness to use MDA as a cop out is what killed the chemistry in the team.
Once the NY media focuses on building a library of faults for Woodson based on conjecture and speculation from BS tweets by players and other "sources", this pattern of behaviour by our "all stars" will return quickly.
Woodson was aaked a question during the postgame last night and he said that is something we keep in house. I don't anticipate that happening with him. I also don't remember reading anything about D'Antoni from players other than after the sweep in the playoffs and stuff from his first two years when he struggled with some of his players.
