This scout don't know jack about basketball.

Quality players can adapt and play under any circumstance. The figure it out.

Jeremy Lin is a quality basketball player. He is learning the joy of rebounding.

"That's one thing that Coach Woodson talks a lot about," Lin said. "He cares a lot about defense and rebounding, and that will feed into our offense. He always says he doesn't care who scores, as long as we defend. It gives us easy baskets, it gives us momentum, it gives us rhythm, being able to run out and get the rebound, play fast and get open shots."

Expect a triple double from Lin in the near future.

Totally agree with Misterearl.
In time, Lin will prove (he continues to get better!) to all that he is NOT a "system" PG.

When the Knicks win the NBA Finals, he'll be on SNL.

This is not necessarily to think the guy was a "system PG", just that his skills would be best applied under MDA!

Steve Nash was a top point guard before his Suns career, but he really took it up some notches after playing in the MDA system.

Carmelo Anthony is ANTI-BASKETBALL

JLin is probability the most well known player to non-NBA fans right now. Think of the skits they can create using his back story. Barkley never won a ring. Hopefully, the Knicks can win it this year and Lin gets on SNL.
Plus Lin has already been on SNL.

I know it is not fair to compare Lin's 22 games since the start of Linsanity to other PG stats that have started the full season, but I will do it anyway. This is where Lin stands versus other PGs.

PG - 19.3 - Rank 5th
APG - 8.1 - Rank 6th
Steals/GM - 2.2 - Rank 2nd
Rebounds - 3.9 - Rank 4th

Not too shabby...right Steven A? LOL!

(cough)

Is this the same scout who labelled Jeremy Lin a D-Leaguer?

Lin just signed a global marketing deal with Volvo. That is global with a G.

So much for D'Antoni's departure costing Lin millions.

Yes, the man was on Sports Illustrated for how many weeks in a row, but it will be back to the NBDL foodstamps for him now that MDA's system is gone.

I see dumb people.

The company is trying to boost Volvo sales in China as part of a strategy to double the brand’s global sales to 800,000 vehicles by 2020. Geely plans to invest up to $11 billion in the effort.

What do you think JLin's share of that $11 billion be?

Woodwon: "I'm thinking of moving Lin to backup role."

(Phone rings)

Dolan and Stern on conference line: "Heh-he-heh. Good early April fool's joke" (Beavis and Butthead impersonation)

And this is why Jeremy Lin will stay in NY

-----------------

Taiwanese PC vendor Acer Inc. has submitted a bid for New York Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin to serve as its global brand ambassador, the company's chairman said Tuesday.

"Lin is expected to choose one PC maker and endorse that brand globally," Acer Chairman and CEO J.T. Wang said at an Acer CSR (corporate social responsibility) forum.

"We have submitted a proposal," he said. "Based on our understanding, there might be about four to five PC makers around the globe that have made proposals to Lin."

He declined to disclose how much Acer is offering the first NBA star of Taiwanese descent.

Lin will discuss the matter with his family and agent before making a choice, Wang said.

Acer's proposal came after it announced a marketing partnership with the Knicks on March 14, which will allow the PC vendor's logo to be featured courtside at the Knicks' home games for the remainder of the 2011-12 NBA season.
