Agreed

Knicks will have Tyson and J.Lin (Thank god)
MSG isnt foolish enough to lose Lin whom will benefit with a full new 82 gm season

Amare needs to be traded to LAL for P.Gasol

Kobe can use Amare' scoring ability whenever Amare decides to hoop

Gasol will give NY low post presence, blocks shots
plays lot of D and be tough with Tyson to make a fierce front line whom will thrive in Da'Garden next yr

Put a package of Amare, Davis, and Douglas for Gasol and the pg from Michigan the lakers drafted.

Trust the Process

You kidding? Why would the lakers ...

we should make them throw in Bynum.

Amare is worthless - he has a max uninsured contract that is not insured!

here's an excuse, he's got the third best plus/minus on the team. but i guess that's just more of d'antoni's bad coaching for you!

there was no training camp and very little practice time. he was going with known quantities.

you're really gonna back dolan here? historically, does it seem like a good idea to be on the same side of a debate as dolan?

So +/- is the be all end all now? Those stats don't show the brick 3's, jump pass to's or terrible defense against real SGs

its not just Dolan who wants to move on from dantoni and my opinion is based on what I've seen all year capped off
by the team quitting on the coach for a 2nd time

Get ready for ISO ball. The ball movement is history.

Good..I don't mind ball movement but some of D'Antoni's ball movement led to dumb results. Like Jared Jefferies with a open jumper. The more efficient teams/better teams use ball movement to get their more talented players open looks and yes sometimes the easiest way to do that is give the star the rock and move out the way.

How can we watch all these teams repeatedly beat us in the clutch with their stars taking every shot to close the game and believe in this D'Antoni equal opportunity ball movement plan.

Hopefully this will be the last of me wondering at the end of games why they didn't get Melo, Amare or who ever is hot at the time the rock to close the game. I'm sorry but I'm not upset to see him Resign. Hopefully the next coach uses his clipboard, substitutions and timeouts like a NBA coach.

I like it when the ball moves around and ends up in Novak's hand for an open three. I like it when Lin lobs the ball over Novak for an open 3. If Novak is open and Melo is open, which one would I throw the ball to? I'll throw the ball to Novak first.

Melo posting up and everybody else spectate is boring basketball. Team progression is halted.

You know you get open Novak looks from post ups too right. Look at Orlando..they don't have a problem getting Anderson open 3 pt looks by throwing Dwight the ball in post waiting for double team and rotating ball. Plus they don't have a problem running it 10 straight times til the other team stops it unlike the D'Antoni offense that for some reason would run a play perfectly and you'll never see it for the rest of the game.

please. his numbers will go way down. what a pathetic piece of **** joke this franchise is.

@ChrisMannixSI

Scouts telling me this coaching change should benefit Carmelo Anthony immediately. Woodson's offense heavy on isolation, two-man game, misdirection.
Jeremy Lin, not so much. One scout says Baron Davis's skills fit better. Another says change "probably going to cost Lin millions in new contract."

Man! You are really taking this hard - more than others!

A lot of people are taking this hard. And those that are jumping up and down can enjoy the next 10 years of first round exits. Lin put NY back on the NBA map and now he will become an interesting side note in history.

TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

All these guys loved MDA and had his back. You think they want to play for Melo? Or Dolan?

I'm guessing Amar'e and Tyson will ask for trades.

What a pathetic day in the long history of pathetic days for this franchise.

F@@@CCCCK YOU, DOLAN

Good Bye I didnt know they were leaving go with them.

Like getting swept in the 1st round after MDa finally making the playoffs. Couldn't play enough defense to win 1 game?

Knicks up 26. I'm so sad that Lin, Tyson & Davis are leaving in the off season. I'm crying hysterically
