First, actually its therapeutic. But I get its harder to be optimistic. But you know, being a fan should be fun. With the Knicks, its masochism. Which means you suffer. And we already have a day job to take care of that.

Second, its nice that we are one of the few teams that can say they can win a 7 games series vs. Miami or Chicago. Problem is, this team is used to talking a lot and doing nothing on the court, so until they start beating the Bucks and Cavs of the league, we'll be careful to talk about the real big dogs in the East.

Thats because this team is still too immature to enjoy the success of being a top seed. If they do get it with enough time to make the playoffs, I could see a '99 happening again. But its too hard right now. As you say, on paper we are tough to beat. We've been beaten by teams with half the talent, which is the problem.

And as much as I'd like to think otherwise, Melo has a lot of the blame for this. There is no reason for him to come back, make the team move away from what had them in the winning streak and then not take blame for when the losing starts again. Not even Amar'e had this terrible impact when returning.

we will win most of the games VS Bucks and Cavs of the league and we will beat the big dogs some games in the regular season.
we had some big time games this season that we just came short after giving a great effort VS the big dog teams and I belive we will have that effort some games in the regular season and every game in the playoffs and that why I think we will be dangerus come playoff time.

lets take the last chicago game...we lost because we couldn't get a rebound ,thats not going to happen 4 straight game in the playoffs , you make ajustments and we have more weapons than CHICAGO.
