HHHMMMM interesting take. Nobody ever mentioned that or viewed it that way. Everyday learn something new and original.

I don't understand how Lin is sucking according to you. He is still contributing night after night and he's also the one player that is being paid peanuts to do what he does out there compare to the two overpaid clowns.

previous compensation has literally nothing to do with current performance and a lot to do with previous performance. so that shouldn't be factored into the discussion of current performance.

Lin should get some wiggle room, considering he's basically a rookie. that said, he shouldn't be immune from criticism, especially after yesterday's performance. he was awful yesterday

No, but Lin is still contributing whereas, if you had nobody else but BD and Mike Bibby or Douglas to go by, you wouldn't be seeing the kind of number Lin's putting up.

There is no riding off of yesterday's contribution. How can you even say that? Lin puts up the exact same kind of numbers/performance he was doing when Knicks went on a 7 game winning streak except this time, Knicks aren't winning.

Even for an off-game for Lin, he manages to put in 14 points and 6 assists.

That is a smart but a bit passive as well. Perhaps he is just saving his energy for the defensive end.

I don't want Lin taking so many shots, but last nights game was skewed. First, Lin is getting more shots as Stat is not taking so many, really. Second, Lin was clearly trying to get something going and being aggressive in particular cause Stat and Melo (after the 1st qtr) weren't doing much. Third, he played the fourth quarter with Stat and Melo out, so right there was a part of it. Normally he'd be passing anyway, but the Sixers really got up on him (but didn't double as much) so Lin could usually get by his man. But didn't finish well at all, even when he wasn't fouled.

Now, in a typical game if Stat and Melo are both on (should that ever happen again ), you can be sure he will be passing more and also get a few drives in to keep defenses honest.

Your argument would make sense if it wasn't nightly, not just one night...Amare has to get looks...Carmelo will take care of himself...Being aggressive and assertive is not good enough reasons to take as many shots as he does...It's not always smart basketball either, turnovers come because he leaves the ground without knowing where the ball is going next....He and the coach has to know Melo and Amare are better scorers...It's the PG's job to get easy looks for them and not just himself...

I like you on Ritalin. You should take it in the morning so we don't have to deal with the downside all day. LOL

How about this for lin 3 for 6. You want Lin to take less shot? not make any attempt to score? just don't give a damn about the game and do nothing??

Please stop ridin' the dude. Lin won't come to your house to tuck you in, believe me, I've tried. In all seriousness, be an objective poster, and see the numbers for what they are. 5-18 from your Point Guard will not get it done at any level. Playground, High School, College, Pros, D League, Backyard, Euro League, China, NBA 2K...

earthmansurfer is right! If you just look at the box score you get a totally wrong impression about the game. You have dig deeper than that. The mere fact is that once again the team failed in the 3rd qtr and this time MDA didn't bring the starter back!!!

One of these days this team is gonna be clicking on all cylinders at once. We haven't had that yet. We need to get this team where everyone is playing well at the same time.

Why does JLin take more shots than Amare nightly????
