Papabear Says

Do you really think that would make the Knicks better. Maybe it is the other way around. New York may be bad for Melo. If Melo leaves just be prepared to go through another 5 years of hell until we run another hopeful out of town. The man has not called any woman any names he hasn't been caught doing drugs, he has not been arrested. It's just New York fans chasing another good player out of town. In a few monthe you will be calling for Lins head.

Papabear i was being sarcastic. However i dont think melo fits this team. i mean isos dont work and he cant fit with the up tempo offense that we were having success on. I know they are not trading melo i was just saying for argument sake

Isoball needs to be a small part of any offense. Who gets the ball when you need a late basket? You need a top iso player and we have the best in the league. I agree with Papabear, running him out of town does nothing, for better or worse it has to be a commitment. Be a fan and root for the guy. Not supporting him is pointless.

If Melo demands a trade but Dolan keeps his starphuck philosophy, that's pointless.

We gave him everything he wanted. The got the trade and the money. He got the city. We adored him, showered him as a hero, we put him as the face of the franchise.

I doubt we trade him anytime soon nor will he ask for it.

Melo has had a bad season and Stars get the heat

I recall once upon a time a player of any status got a full season 1 yr to play
before he's run out of town.

Melo has been at post-interviews Win or lose.
He has had 1st full 'strike' season on NY club but isnt getting any breaks.

Do think he deserves a chance same as the other casts (D'Antoni 4 yrs as coach) and Amare been here about 3 yrs

So perhaps after the season if NY is to trade him, then its the time to assess those things.

Melo is scorced more in papers than MDA, Dolan, Amare or any recent Knick
and he's been here less than 1 yr.

Oh, he showed up for the 10 minute post-game interviews regardless of win or loss?

How noble and heroic of him.

The times we live in, friends: a guy is lauded as a Eternal Legend Superhero for performing basic job tasks.

Believe you me if Melo demanded a trade (I wouldnt blame him! for way NY treats him)
none of that would fix Knicks real issues..

Write it in stone

Amen! The guy has only been here one year, and they are already giving up on him. This is the best team the Knicks has had in the past ten years. I believe that some people just don't have any patients.

Rumor has it that D'Antoni and Grunwald would not be opposed to a Carmelo + Lin for John Wall, Javale McGee + filler / cap.

If this is true, we could something really serious from Wiz since Carmelo would be going "home" (B'more)

Nixluva is posting triangle screen grabs, even when nobody asks - Fishmike. LOL So are we going to reference that thread like the bible now? "The thread of Wroten Page 14 post 9" - EnySpree

Come On man, what rumors? South Park rumors don't count. There are no trades being discussed by the Knicks. The only thing they're thinking about is getting this team to click on all cylinders.

I can be angry with the way this team has underperformed, but lets make one thing clear. This team is PACKED with talent. Once they get to the playoffs I think by then this will be a much different team. That's a lot more time to gel and develop a clear identity.

I read it on another forum, but they really should make a south park episode dissing melo. his no-defense ass.
