screw dwight. he's the same sort of me-first loser this team doesn't need. last time i checked, tyson won a ring last year. no need to trade him for dwight.

trade melo somewhere else, upgrade a few pieces, and move on. the experiment has failed. he's not a player worth building around.

I think we should trade for Durant or Kobe, so they can watch Jeremy Lin run a pick and roll 50 times a game.

It's absurd the claims being made. Aren't the Bulls like 8-2 without Rose??? How many of these great players play in a system like this??? I think Jeremy is a good player, but building a team around a good players skills is asinine.

This coach is going to get fired, because he doesn't get it.

Weak argument. Teams have figured this out and now we need to adjust.

Everything is not so black and white.

If Melo goes back on the DL, we go 8-1?

all posturing aside, melo goes on the DL and I think we win more than we would with him in the lineup. he's a cancer. all about himself, doesn't give a damn, and is paid like and supposed to be the team's best player. how can you watch and not think we play better without him?

At least 6-2.

oh, please, no one has figured out how to stop Lin. Melo not hustling makes it easy on everyone.

and Lin not getting to play with Novak hurts his game. too many times it's Novak and Baron - it helps Baron, but hurts Lin. Last time Knicks played Dallas, Lin and Novak combined for a MASSIVE run.

8-1, 61-21, 62-20, 55-27, 55-28

Who gives a ****, you don't get a title for being 8-1 or 81-1, why do you think this statement is a end all be all??? Great teams figured his this system out when it was Nash at the point, you really think a guy picked off waivers is going to fare better???

Have you not noticed Lin getting his **** pushed in further and further the more times see him???

This coach isn't going to adjust and he is going to get fired. He doesn't get what made the team successful, the fact that JJ2 never seen the floor tonight proves it.

We will now start seeing every team trap the PnR. Which by the should now just be called the nR since there is no real pick.

Lin is still gonna be a really good player but they/he has not yet adjusted to this or figured it out.

Melo clogs the floor. he makes no sense on this team. team needs a three point shooter in his spot, like Gallo or even Wilson, who can slash when needed, but spread the floor otherwise.

Melo won't spread the floor, the lane gets clogged, it's easier for opposing teams to trap the PnR with a clogged lane, the offense stalls. Melo pouts, plans his shoe line for China, wonders what Lala's next TV show will be, doesn't get down on himself, man.

You can't spin the Truth. Lin isn't nash but 23/9 or whatever he dropped over those 9 games certainly tell me that he was on his way to being Nash. Guys don't come out of nowhere and drop those numbers.

It's not 'original' to think up 50 excuses for why this isn't working, it's just redundant.

8-1 is 1/7th of the season. That's a significant chunk of THE SEASON. It's the only reason we're in the 8th seed right now. Heavens forbid if Melo played those 9 games, the playoffs might be out of reach right now.

Dwight will be a monster feature pick and roll big in MDA's system. Not to mention 15rebs and 2.5blks a game. Howard would be like Amare on the suns but with rebounding, defense and shot blocking.

Howard went to the finals with a bunch of role players. Replace Chandler on that squad with Howard and they don't get past the first rd. I love Chandler to but he isn't the impact player that Howard is. Chandler isn't owning the paint with rebounds or taking over games defensively.

going back to the original post; is melo that great of a player? there are at least 15 guys in the league better than him. how "great" is he? all things considered (being a good teammate, bringing it every night), melo may not even crack the top 20 guys in the NBA. that is not "star" material. he may have a good game every now and then but night in night out, as a "team leader" and "franchise player" there is a long list of guys i'd prefer.

Have you watched Rubio this season? He has come back to earth - maybe Melo is at fault there to? These things happen. I am not saying that Melo does not slow his numbers a bit just being on the court, any star would do that.

19 pts 13 assist in cleveland? And, uh, oh, um, Melo played.

How the hell is that possible?

It definitely looks like he is on the wrong team now.

42 points against Boston? That was not to bad. Not a whole lotta complaints then.

PG dominated ball stunts what he can do. Not sure if thats why he can't hit a damn Jumper.
