Melo took some space and shots from Stat and this year Tyson took even more out of Amare share.
The only way Amare can be mode useful if he will come with second unit.
Even Jorts will be much better start in place of Amare with his defense and outside shot.
But can Amare to put his ego aside and play the same or more minutes from the bench? If he want to be a champion we must.
Amare's getting 15 shots a game. Shots being taken away by teammates is not the problem.
It's the context of those shots that's a problem.
He's been squeezed out of his comfort zone, out of the way he likes to work.
Squeezed out ?
he has to adjust to that cause Melo and Tyson need to do what they do which is play in the paint as forward
problem fail to realize is Amare isn't working hard enough because he is settling for known D'Antoni jumpshot
offense. He's given green light for them 15 - 20 foot shots aint falling.
If coach MDA and as_sistants were any damn good they would work on pick & roll and also design some offense better
for Amare's slower game. His feet is TERRIBLE he got think 100yrs before he moves left Or right, occasionally explodes
for a dunk when he has a space & wants to rise up.
All in all we shouldn't make excuses for Amare S.
he isn't doing the job of working more. That can be around the basket put backs, or tips of ball off glass.
he just do not seem to be really into the game unless he hits a few shots or him jumper is working.
I HATE that !
Toney Douglas and Amare is kind of guys whom get down on their game when jumpers wont work
thus though TDouglass is out of the mix rotation (Thank jesus!) Amare game goes along with his points.
I hate to say that but its what we're all watching
This aint the same man whom was MVP candidate last yr.
He opens his mouth about deferring and changing his game to sacrifice when Melo joins Knicks
what about Knick players adjusting too ! to all their new talent.
Amare is a little like D'Antoni the situation gotta be perfect & everything and sun, moon and universe all aligning right
for Amare game to be an impact. Same for D'Antoni coaching
