![]() I've played with the same guys since middle school. Going on x years now. We rarely play without each other. We love playing together and would kill for each other on the court. YOu wouldn't believe some of the things we call each other.

On the MSG feed off the boradband leaguepass, Bernard King (how cool is it that he does games now) mentioned that everytime Melo got the ball and didn't move it the crowd groaned a little. After he said that I listened for it and that was accurate. My guess is more than anything is he's feeling th epressure to mesh his game to Lin's. Once they get experience together I doubt this will be an issue because there were more than a few awesome set-ups from Lin where Melo got clear paths to the basket I meant it more from the fact that he's a Knick legend pov Like I said to Briggs, he needs to work on his delivery. But I thought his insight was fantastic DLeethal wrote:

I am not over analizing game footage, as I stated in my post the announcers specifically mentioned it first and then they showed them walking off after the timeout. I was seeing it on the NBA league pass so my video feed was not the same as yours fishmike

Ug I hate this. The idea of Towns is great until you see what a pussy he is. Jules is a dog. DD was a flamethrower locked up cheap for 3 more years.
First Leon move I hate

You wrote "he seemed pissed off". You are reading in to the situation based on very little information. Maybe he was pissed off, maybe he wasn't. Maybe in the heat of the moemnt he reacted. Maye he was mad about something else. Maybe he hates Lin. Lots of maybes and no real information Once during a pick up game I was on fire(as usual). Novak like I had hit 4 or 5 long range "are you kidding me" bombs in a row. the next trip down we are out of the fast break and I'm wide open. Nobody picks me up. I'm screaming "money in the bank". My PG ignored me and took it to the hole. He got his shiot swatted and the ohter team came down and hit game point. There was about a 10 game wait so I was piosed. I grabbed the ball and whizzed it at my friends head as hard as I could. My goal was to decapitate him. I LOVE THAT GUY It's just sports, don't feed in to the media drama. ![]() There's no Lin Melo problem. There was a point in the game where Chandler was jawing at Lin. Things happen during the course of a game but this team is tight.

![]() Nothing wrong with a guy with 9 games experience getting advice from one of the games best closers...even if they are overnight international sensations. I would be more concerned if Melo didn't say anything. You only say something if you care.

![]() Yeah, I think the team is tight enough and the guys want to do the right thing that you could bring Marbury back and it wouldn't hurt team chemistry.

![]() Melo just wanted to exploit a mismatch, because I think he had like Boobie Gibson or someone small on him, and Lin missed it. Nothing major or nothing to write about. Jordan would rip Pippen, Kukoc, and Kerr new *******s on and off the court and they still went to the same strip clubs after the games.

Lin will better when he understand that on the court. 13 games does compare to 9 season young padawan. ![]() Anji wrote:well melo is suppose to be our go to guy i nevr said that. But calling lin a sideshow after pulling this team from the dumps to playoff contention is a little stupid. I mean this stupid lin vs melo crap is pointless since they play for the same team.JCrusher wrote:Anji wrote:To take the next step the knicks need this guy........."Lin is a sideshow" I tell you for a sideshow he seemed like he saved our season. our main event wasn't main eventing anything earlier in the season |

Yes I agree... but Lin is the one getting us there not Melo. Right now Lin is the bread and butter and Melo is the icing. |

![]() Now that Melo's jumper is finally starting to fall, he is probably going to get more touches and more chances to facilitate the offense. I am starting to see better schemes on offense after only one practice. A few times last game we ran Melo through off-ball screens. A couple of times Melo drew doubles from the block and kicked it out to open teammates; one time it was Lin, who took advantage of the compromised defense by rocketing to the basket for an AND-1.
I think for the most part we have been too Lin dependent (as the game against Miami showed) and that the offense needs to be equal parts Lin and equal parts Melo. The more dynamic an offense, the better. And every championship team needs a post threat. I can see 18/10 for Lin and 24/5 for Melo, give or take a few points and assists As long as they both continue to make each other more efficient, this partnership definitely works "LINISH HIM!"
