The way Davis and Lin can penetrate to the hoop the defense won't be able to dubble team Lin as often and forcing teams to play honest one on one defense. Hopefully Davis can stay healthy.

so far Lin has had like 1 game where the defense on him was able to really slow him down with a hard trap - Miami, who has probably shown the best team defense since Jordan/Pippen. You do not change lineup because of one night.

And really, you just created more problems then you solve. Is Davis an outside shooter? Cause you need to spread the floor. Can Davis guard other SGs? Who comes off the bench to play PG? Can Novak guard starting SFs (NO). Why not start your C?

Not well thought out.

I'm not saying start that team I'm just interested to see what that line up can do on the floor together

oh.

I just think Davis is will eventually deserve more then just back up point gard min. you can't take away Lins mins on the floor that's why I'd like to see if they can co exist on the floor.I mean talk about having two Earl Monroe like players playing in the back court at the same time.

you are focusing on only one aspect of the game. What about defense and outside shooting to space the floor? how does Davis compliment Lin or the lineup in those respects?

"there" should be their,
their implies a plural as in more than one player, Earl is only one player
and NO, Lin and Davis don't resemble Earl in ANY WAY.

The lineup that sees the heaviest minutes ( don't have to start) are these. Pick the one with the most advantageous matchups.

1. Tyson-Novak-Melo-Shump-Lin
2. Tyson-Jeffries-Melo-JR-Lin

Then a relief unit of:

Amare-Jorts-Fields-(Shump/JR)-Baron
Can do some serious damage to any second unit.

Both of the first two lineups have good balance between Defense and Offense.

TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!
