The problem with flopping is the problem with NBA officiating and rules.
NHL get read of flopping in one year by penalizing every flop and even enforcing fines for repeat offenders.
Flopping is considered worst that ruffing or crosschecking. Plus the floppers are getting challenged to a fight and get their a..ss handled to them.
It is NBA responsibility to put an end to this shameful type of plays.

I think Kevin Garnett also ruined the NBA. A bunch of 6-11/7 footers thought they could PG style ball on the perimeter and the entire concept of a post up/inside player almost was eliminated from the game.

The player that ruined the NBA the most was Shaq. Big athletic no skill player that did a lot of damage.

I don't think MJ ruined the NBA. I think the false interpretation of his game that ruined the NBA. Players watched MJ and thought

1.) I can ISO and lead my team to 70 wins a titles like Mike does(even though no one is Mike). I don't need to move the ball because Mike didn't
2.) If I can do fancy dunks adn moves I will get a shoe contract and if I get a shoe contract it means I'm a great player

we are saying the same thing in different ways. Everyone wanted to be like Mike. Its been 10 years and Kobe is the closest thing and everyone knows he's great but he aint Mike.

Word

I just hope that people will like me

it wasn't so much MJ the player as much as it was MJ the marketing icon that ruined the game.

oh definitely... marketing ops galore if you hold the ball for that last second shot

Funny thing is I wish Lin and Shump would flop more!!! I think they get hit a lot and don't get the call as much cuz they aren't flopping immediately upon contact. Also it helps when you have long hair to exaggerate the contact LIn needs to let his hair grow like Nash and let it swing away.

Nothing like TripleThreat to **** on my entire life on an already gloomy Wednesday.

Look, at first, things are tight and snug, then they grow and you have more losses due to friction and all these ugly things.

Entropy.
