Shumpert = microfracture waiting to happen

Sat what? Where do you get that idea from?

SAT = 1270, and that's the old school score when it only went up to 1400. And you took the test on a slate. With an abacus.

I love the Shump, mind you, but he's got IR written all over him. Or are you watching someone different? And especially after the fact that most of his lock/workout vids went viral. Then again, maybe he's a got the little Blake Griffin-lite thing going on. Lots of injuries can make you stronger, I suppose.

Bottom line guys Fields, Novak, Shump, JR, and baron all need to play....there's no room for everyone. At least one guy is gonna have to get benched.....who do you bench?

my line-up works. you could even shave a few minutes off JR to give to Shump and Fields.

Well, who out of that group is most used to the pine at this point? It's pretty obvious, isn't it? You suffer with Shump at the point at times and file baron right before bibby and right after balkman. oh wait...

Are baron's turnovers all that indispensable?

Shumpert may not be completely healed this season. Since opening day he has been trying to play through pain but it is obvious his explosiveness has suffered. Although he is back to practice tomorrow, it is on a limited basis.

Don't like the sound of that.

Apparently, some folks don't hear so well. See above.

I don't like Shump playing PG. Davis is much better at it. He can actually run an offense, penetrate, dish to open players, etc. Half his turnovers have been botched alley-oops, and I figure that will improve as the season progresses (especially if we take JR off the court when Baron is on it).

It's time to start grooming Shump for a Tony Allen role on this team. Lockdown defense and find a way not to be a liability on offense.

Don't believe JR will start anytime soon.

My logic is based on how MDA tends to motivate his players. First, he tells players what they need to work on. Then he withholds playing time, and or in this case, the right to start, until problem has been corrected. (I am sure there are some things that MDA wants JR to change.)

He simply won't give up his leverage on JR, by continuing to start Landry Fields. In addition, I don't think it is reasonable to assume that Landry Fields will not be able to start shooting a higher percentage from the 3 point line again. I am sure Landry knows what his problem is, and he is working very hard on improving this part of his game. Landry Fields is a bit like David Lee. They both will continue to tinker with their games, and keep trying to get better over time imo.

I think Landry is the only guy that needs to be having a good a good day in order to play well. He's Moody and when he has to think he's probe to mistakes and had confidence issues. Jr and Shump are ooozing confidence. I would like Shump to start with Lin and have Jr back him up....Landry should be the guy that battles, Novak fire minutes behind melo

dont forget JJ. Bottom line is there isnt a Linsanity win streak without him playing the way he did, especially against the Lakers. He's been huge and has earned his minutes. Shump is the best defender (would have been nice to see him on Wade for stretches). Baron is the backup PG and will eventually see time with Lin as well.

Good problems to have

i doubt we can afford him after this year, unless i am mistaken.

didn't he say just last game that next year he's only looking for 2.5? If so, NY can afford that.

also, i thought you could exceed the luxary tax to resign your own free agents.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt
