have all joined the team since Melo came here. Chandler, Baron, JR were all FA who specifically cited Melo as a reason they came here. I guess people might want to play with our horrible, selfish jerk of a star? Weird!
minor miracle. without lockout and subsequent amnesty, probably no Chandler, Davis, Lin, JR. Knicks got lucky; no way else to categorize it.
We do indeed have to give out some props. First to Stat, he started the move to NY. Then Melo came and even though that was a tough trade for many reasons, we got superstar imo. (I just hope he comes back around soon - then we have a great chance to win it all, really.)I'll try to be a bit more open with Melo and his play since early in the year. We are a team and we as fans should try to support them as well - but no blind following, that is fair.
Tyson came to play with Stat and Melo. Same could be said for JR though I think he came for the extra money we could offer him (we'll see if he picks up his player option next year!). Novak just fits the system like a glove. Great Great draft with Shump and Jorts, seriously good job front office. Jeffries really helped turn things around.
And Finally, Lin. Boy did we luck out here, the one missing piece to put the before mentioned pieces into play.
