The TEAM took down Kobe and Dirk, and don't you forget it. Lin certainly hasn't. To defeat the Heat without Shump, everyone needs to get back on defense to stop the Miami gazelles from getting crazy.

Amar'e gets Lebron for a short shift. Carmelo needs to bring the defensive effort he had last night. The Captain needs to play like The Captain. Lin needs to stay under control with two high quality defenders running at him.

It's a scrimmage. Don't believe the hype.

The keys to this game will be Novak draining 3's off the bench,getting one of their big 3 in foul trouble, AND HITTING FREE THROWS, WE ARE GOD AWFUL AT THE LINE

Shump is already out for the dunk contest and for tonight. Basically, New York has to force Miami to take jump shots tonight and it's important for New York to not turn the ball over. It's also important for New York's second unit to play well.

They don't, they really don't kill us.

Or, at the least, we can't say with certainty that they kill us.

It's a complex system, the hoops game on the hardwoods. If he doesn't get the turnovers, maybe his style is not the same, and if his style is not the same, he doesn't have the same impact?

Lin has to play his game, you hope he doesn't turn it over, but at the same time I won't say he kills us with 5 turnovers a game if he gets 2 back and makes everyone else on the floor feel so good about themselves.

Novak had a rough outing against the Heat the last time but that was pre-Lin. I'm sure he wants some payback. Hope he lights them up.
