D'Antoni puts him in late in the first quarter and he drains 5 straight jumpers. Nothing but net.

Ha- you're right though, he is the kind of player who can just explode, regardless- hope he does that tonight, we need some scoring.

He's nearing 34, the short season will hurt the older guys most.

I can relate, can't get up and down the court like I used to but its hard to stop playing, even at my age.

It is safe to say that J.R. Smith is excited to possibly be making his Knicks debut Sunday.

In a marathon session on Twitter late Saturday and early Sunday, the sweet-shooting guard did a series of posts and retweets that was still going at nearly 3 a.m.

The series of messages revealed little other than that he was very happy to be with the Knicks and that his jersey number will be 8.
