It's a risk, but then again not signing him is a risk too. Chemistry is the toughest thing to get in basketball, and there is that fear that JR could destroy what we have. Then again, maybe we are just on a hot streak and will come back down to earth in the games ahead- at which point we'd be regretting not signing him- same if player start getting injured or if BD can't return.
I'm prepared to give any new player a chance- JR Smith has a reputation, but then again so did Rodman, Rasheed Wallace. Maybe he turns out like Stephen Jackson did when he ended up on the Spurs. I suppose what I'm saying is sometimes a problematic player can land in the right situation, and grow from it and help a team win. This might blow up in our faces, but I'll give him a chance first.
