The good thing about J.R. and Novak is that they bring different things to the table at different positions and we have them both so we don't have to decide which one's better. I love Novak and he is a deadly weapon in this system. Its amazing to root for guys like him and Lin and see them making great plays.

Jorts doesn't have to mean trouble for Novak. Jorts can spell Tyson while giving us another long range option.

Novak Speaks

“We as a team, and as an organization I think know, that we’re gonna go as Melo goes, we’re gonna go as Amar’e goes. Those guys are gonna lead us,” Novak said, “and I think because of what Jeremy has been able to really create over this last stretch, I think it’s gonna make those guys so much better. And I think you’re gonna see Melo maybe not have as much pressure on him to have to do as much, because he’s gonna be able to count on Jeremy to create and trust that he’s gonna find Carmelo in the right spot. So I see Jeremy making Carmelo’s job a lot easier.”

“Carmelo’s ultimate goal is to win,” Novak said. “And I think that his frustration sometimes early in the year was because we weren’t playing great, we weren’t winning. And I think that he wants to win so bad that sometimes he was being super-aggressive. And I think with Jeremy on the court to take a lot of the pressure of having the ball in his hands, I think it’s gonna be easier for Melo, and I think he’s gonna — more than anybody probably — absolutely love it and benefit from it.”

Sign me up, too. Novak hits timely 3-bombs, and is becoming a consistent threat from beyond the arc.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Smith and Novak Sounds Like A Law Firm

It is not about one over the other. If you didn't notice, Smith and Novak shared the floor yesterday.

The Knicks are in the process of becoming a team. Why not support every last one of them, as a team?

The best part about it: They did it with the Big Three superstar plan they've been working to enact ever since LeBron James took his talents to South Beach in front of a gaggle of blank-faced, confused children. Yep, the whole master blueprint has come to fruition. The triumverate of Jeremy Lin, Steve Novak, and J.R. Smith took the Knicks to the promised land. Donnie Walsh, thanks for being the architect! - Will Leitch, NY Magazine

Since you mentioned it knickstorrents, WHY do you prefer, "Novak over JR Smith any day of the week"?

Discount Triplecheck

If this keeps up, Aaron Rogers will be an afterthought.

Lin may have brought The Garden to life. Shump stunned us with the tomahawk in traffic. The Captain received an ovation for chasing down a deflection at halfcourt. JR Smith won the dunk contest in a move rarely seen in a game.

Novak gave it electricity.
