And different positions.

True, but isn't there such a thing as poetic license?

there are some interesting matchups in this game:

Novak vs Gasol is... an interesting and dangerous matchup. but if he can hold his own against Gasol for 20 minutes or so, the knicks might be able to hang with the lakers. novak is essential to spreading the floor for lin.

tyson will be needed on bynum.

interesting to see if shump will guard kobe or fields. kobe is a rough matchup for fields.

lin on fisher favors the knicks, you'd think. interesting to see if blake or even kobe gets extended run on lin, or if they double him hard.

i really hope lin can have a good showing on ESPN. i hate when our team is playing well and then lays an egg on national television.

think this one is on ESPN... but it's still gonna be hard. and i don't think the knicks have won on ESPN yet this year. whereas, i believe the xmas day game was on TNT.

Of course they have a chance. Just play smart, aggressive ball.

You're right, ESPN. Hope Breen and JVG are calling the game and give the Knicks some good NY vibes

Nice 82-82 Lakers-Celtics 9secs Boston ball. Lets pull for Laker win in a couple OT's. We can win tomorrow if the Lakers are gassed on the east coast trip

You got your wish. Lakers win in OT - 88 to 87. Kobe, Bynum, and Gasol all played over 40 min each. I hope they are exhausted!

That gives us a bit of hope, but this game is really going to be tough- I suspect they'll put Kobe on Lin- even if he gets past him, Gasol and Bynum are there to block his shots. Plus Kobe seems extra motivated when playing in New York- doubt the fatigue will affect him.

The last few games have been unbelievable, and have made being a Knick fan enjoyable for the first time in a long time, but I think this game will be a loss, which I can live with- hopefully I'm proved wrong though!

Shump is going to make Kobe work for everything he gets. We need to run a lot tonight. Not only did the Lakers play ot on the road last night, but they're an old team.

I am a little worried about BRIGGS boy Bynum. Dude has a history off laying wood on penetrating PGs. MSG would riot if he did this to Lin.

Oh,I would LOVE it if the Knicks can get the W against those damn Lakers tonight.

Here's to Lin and Co. handling their biz tonight. GO KNICKS!!!

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!
