A. Ambulatory Mike Bibby > Stuck On Stationary Toney Douglas = crack pipe dream

His shot's flat. He has no legs when he gets off the bench, let alone after he gets burn for 5 minutes.
This story is over.
Play the "Don't touch me Josh, you homo" tape. That has more entertainment value than the Bibby we have at present.

And actually:
A. Dead Mike Bibby > Stuck On Stationary Toney Douglas

So there's not much point to this sort of arithmetic.
Unless Answer Man actually wants to watch a corpse decompose during gametime.

I like Novak in the game when both Lin and Chandler are in. When Lin and Chandler work the pnr, Novak gets those wide open 3's.

I actually saw a play where Novak beautifully boxed out his man to allow another knick to get a rebound. I have not seen enough of that from these knicks. They all just jump for the ball - would love to see more of that.

or how about the occasion where JJ shields off McGee so that Lin has a clear path to a layup?

JJ plays very smart - I have no complaints about him. My main issue is Amare (who I love) rarely boxing out. His fundamentals when it comes to rebounds look weak. He still gets rebounds because of his athleticism but he can do so much better.

Yea I was very impressed with Novak overall. He does more than just hit 3's out there. He's not a very gifted athlete or physical specimen but I did see him blocking out his man from rebounding. The role players on this team are giving it everything they've got.

Walker isn't bad he just not a very smart player..but he has some skills and can shoot..he takes bad shots, falls in love with the 3 ball once he hits 1...when he penetrates he always sticks that ARM out to protect himself and ends up with an offensive foul..he hats contact It seems..

i like Novak a lot... but the idea that he's a small forward needs to stop. he's a 4. and he can only kind of defend other fours. asking him to guard a three is a recipe for disaster.

I disagree with you on this quote. Clearly his height makes it easier to get off shots at small forward, particularly when he is open, after being fed by Jeremy Lin. Currently I would think Novak and Walker are competing for small forward minutes. Walker's defensive prowess doesn't seem to give the Knicks a strong advantage over the defense that Novak plays. On the offensive side, I do think Novak's prowess shooting open shots, makes Novak more valuable than Walker at small forward. On the other hand, I wouldn't give Novak regular small forward minutes ahead of Shumpert, because Shumpert can really defend even at small forward.

When Baron Davis is able to get on the floor along with Lin, Shumpert probably plays back up shooting guard, and backup small forward minutes.
