The way Chandler is playing of late I can't see Howard being that much of an upgrade to compensate for losing Amare.

Chandler is a rare comodity. A guy who grabs an offensive board and looks to pass first (sometimes he is more open than he thinks!) is a guy that keeps the ball flowing around.

Dwight has yet to demostrate ball movement and perhaps with another coach he might be more valuable.

Dwight and Melo are special talents but do they blend?

that is the problem I would have with such a trade as well. Is dwight going to be that much better that it cost us amare?

I think Tyson brings certain things that I value much higher than the only thing Dwight has over him. Tyson being leadership, accountability and the mindset to win. Dwight brings offensive production much better than Tyson but not as good as Tyson - STAT. I really don't see any reason to trade both of the for Dwight. Dwight Howard has shown signs of being mentally soft and seems to cry for help when things go badly. I would much rather have someone like Chandler who says " I refuse to have losing season".

DH has the advantage of having been healthy and injury free. So that needs to be considered as well.

Who knew that savior was an undrafted Harvard Grad, twice cut, D-League call-up, sleeping on Lando couch Asian-American.

Usually Knicks get the cancers, the retreads, the damaged goods, the low IQ, limited, salary cap killing players. Jeremy Lin is such a feel good story, not just for New York, but the whole NBA in general.

I really like what we have and don't really need Dwight..Our front line free throw percentage is north of 75% and I want to keep it that way..Our team is mature now, let's keep it that way..DHow is immature and I'm afraid what a guy like that would be in NY..Give us a PG and we are good..I hope Lin is it baby!!!..I wasn't a believer and still unsure..I'm waiting for the league to adjust to Lin..We are good with trades..Let's go Knicks!!!

Is there going to be a "Paint your tongue blue night?" at the garden in honor of Lin?

I like Chandler so much I'd hate to give him up. Howard though is a game changer, even more than Chandler. Still...

Amare's game fits so well with Lin. I haven't done the contract analysis, but any way they would go for Melo for Howard? If not how about Melo and Amare for Howard and Anderson? Or if not, Melo, Amare and anyone and everyone other than Lin or Chandler for Howard and Anderson?

I'd really like to see him in NY, but in Brooklyn.

Im not afraid or phobic about a Nyet success. Knick-Net conferance final would be a great event!

with Humphries having a good season he becomes a good trade chip with BroPez. Im not concerned with the Magic but they don't give Dwight away.

Tyson not going anywhere until after March 1st even if it comes to be. Magic want to keep Dwight at least until all star game according to many articles.

With Dwight, the whole "Superman" thig was really quite childish. Plus Shaq already did it. I want my players to at the very least "be cool".

I would love to see DHow in Brooklyn ...NY hoops would be great..I would go to a few games too..I drive by the construction of Barclays Arena everyday and will post some pix when it's almost completed..Like I said, I like our maturity, we can and will compete, let's be patient for a change..Go Knicks!!

Fields would fit in at the 3. If you would rather have Chandler and Amare than cool.

What ever I could care less anymore. IMO getting Howard would improve the team no matter who we give up. who has shown to get to the FT line an ungodly amount of times puts pressure on the other teams big men. Amare has not gotten to the line the way Howard has. Id give up Melo or Amare for Howard. Esp since Amare's may enter the twlight of his career next season or the year after. Howard has a good 5 seasons with no major injuries. Amare? Who knows...

MDA did coach Shaq and adjusted the offense to work his post game into it. Not that i'm looking to have DH, but MDA can work with a post up big. The only problem Shaq had was that he couldn't guard the PnR and so they tortured Nash and Shaq with the PnR in the playoffs. DH wouldn't have that same problem.
