Cut Bibby maybe?

Dude, we have Jeremy Lin.

Really..you have that much faith in him the Davis is now a second dairy issue..

It's funny..every time our bench player has a good game all of a sudden he should be in the starting line up..
Then we wonder why we have the weakest bench in the league

I guarantee Lin will drop 8 dimes per game for us this season.

c'mon man. it's one thing to do it impromptu at home against the Nets on their second night of a back2back.

it's another thing for teams to gameplan for you and put pesky Rondo-like defenders on you.

His first night with big minutes was great. He managed to penetrate a few times in the first half against the Celtics. At this point he is a project. I'm thinking 10/6 would be reasonable production for him.

I'm just hoping he can be a consistent contributor. It will be a heck of a story line if he can come from obscurity to franchise savior.

I also guarantee Lin will lead the league in scoring, rebounding and will be Finals MVP. He will also design the rings. And renegotiate the new CBA, and during the off-season will successfully teach Dolan how not to be an a-hole.

The setback sucks, but Baron rushing things is not going to help us.

Hate to finally say it out loud, but the season is slowly slipping away. Glad to see the overall team play picking up, and hope to see a late season surge, but if the shortened season only provides time to develop our youth and build MUCH needed chemistry with our revolving door of a roster, I won't necessarily consider it a failure.

Agreed. But that's 10/6 more than what got right now.

Let's just be thankful that we have Lin at all at this point, since we knew we needed someone to bridge the gap during Davis's rehab. Even if Davis was almost ready, I never expected him to come back blazing like he never left. It was going to take time for him to get his game back regardless. We needed another PG even if Davis was ready to play. Baron was going to be rusty no doubt.

This team isn't deep, but once we get everyone back it'll be a bit better. We don't need Lin to be anything but himself. This system is setup for a PG to be successful. The only prerequisite is that the PG be an aggressive and penetrating PG. The picks are there and lanes will open up. Passes will open up so long as they run the sets properly, which it seems evident that Lin does better than any guard we have.

I'm telling you guys, I can read when a player is about to explode onto the scene.

Lin has all the makings of a fairy tale story this season.

It's still not too late for Most Improved Player.

I would put him in the skills challenge at the break, too.

Theres nothing wrong with being excited to see someone get their deserved shot.
Lin is a good player, is he the next rose? NO
But everyone was talking s*** about felton then he comes to Ny and puts up 17/9 and makes a statement for the all star game.
25pts is 25pts
When he gets mins he puts up numbers. In the d-league he destroyed the competition. In the limited mins he's played he puts up nice numbers for the amount of time he's in.
some of you guys are never satisfied with anything, STFU and watch and support ur team. If you want better turn on ur ps3, create a franchise and make ur BS trades and play the way u want.
That is all

Shutting down Baron Davis until the Summer. Let his back heal completely and please stop with the artificial timetables that have NOTHING to do with anything. He will provide quality depth in 2012-13. Davis replaces Mike Bibby.

Scouring the globe for another Timofey Mozgov - this time he is a 6'6 Lithuanian playing lead guard for a junior team. This guy replaces Steve Novak.

Using the 2.5M exemption wisely. This guy replaces Lupe Fiasco... I mean, Bill Walker.

Drafting another player in the second round who can play. Dis guy replaces Renaldo Balkman.

Discovering a rare gem in Las Vegas at Summer League. Replaces Toney Douglas, whose shoulder starts acting up again.

That's five to restock our scraggly bench.

now we know why MDA finally put Lin in for extended minutes. He knew Davis was not coming any time soon.

you're probably right. Tonight should be interesting for Lin, considering the shot blockers Utah has inside and no Amar'e.

I'm glad they made this decision before rushing Davis into the lineup and possibly making matters worse. I've had this injury and it will F you up if you don't give yourself time to heal.
