Let's just be thankful that we have Lin at all at this point, since we knew we needed someone to bridge the gap during Davis's rehab. Even if Davis was almost ready, I never expected him to come back blazing like he never left. It was going to take time for him to get his game back regardless. We needed another PG even if Davis was ready to play. Baron was going to be rusty no doubt.
This team isn't deep, but once we get everyone back it'll be a bit better. We don't need Lin to be anything but himself. This system is setup for a PG to be successful. The only prerequisite is that the PG be an aggressive and penetrating PG. The picks are there and lanes will open up. Passes will open up so long as they run the sets properly, which it seems evident that Lin does better than any guard we have.
