"What's a brotha gotta do to get 15 quality minutes?"

The beautiful thing is that our big three will FINALLY have someone to manage the floor AND dictate flow.

Lin has a great opportunity to lead a talented frontcourt. JLin will also continue to get open looks. Work on that jumper, son.

Definitely! Once scouts see this game, they'll dare Lin to hit that open jumper. He's gotta work on that big time.

That might open up passing lanes and give him space to operate. He will need to get some confidence in his jumper as well tho. His form is good and his college numbers are solid. No reason why he cannot hit that 15 footer ( channeling Misterearl)

I think Lin should stay on the bench - I will miss TD too much!

what a game from lin tonight. he just kept attacking the basket which was so refreshing to see. glad to see his teammates clearly have alot of love and respect for him too. he probably works really hard in practice which is why his teammates like him and why he got his chance to crack the rotation. great to see a kid put in the work and have it pay off. hopefully he can be our PG and like fish said.. maybe just maybe he could be the knicks victor cruz.

Wise move, Mr. D'Antoni.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

He made Jeffries look like NBA player, that says something in itself!

Yeah. It didn't seem to matter how hard Jeffries threw the ball against the backboard, when Lin was passing it to him it went in more often.

Funny how JJ was know as a scorer at Indiana. He actually looks like he worked on his J this year. He now hits Net (the bad way).

Good PG's seem to have that effect on players. So many times we've seen good PG's setting up role players and they score at a better % and just look better than they normally look. Gotta hope this kid can help us the rest of the way to start playing the way we should. Just having a PG that can and will take it to the basket is such a pleasure to watch.

How many times did we see TD or Shump too, pick up their dribble or just pass it off with no real purpose? How about TD/Bibby going East/West rather than North/South? It was just infuriating to watch. Now the season seems more interesting.

I just hope he can survive once teams start taking the lane and giving him the jumper but then again Andre Miller has survived in the league not being a good three point shooter so you never know.

I like Lin though and if he only has the mid range jumper to go with everything else it is o.k.

his jumper will come. Technically he is not a rookie but in reality he is because he has never played over 35mins until tonight. Same way Shump and Fields will improve their shot overtime

you see right now Jeremy Lin has the world at his finger tips. He can look to build on this game. Work hard and do whatever it takes to be a great nba player. I'm pretty sure he is playing the Garden chants back in his head as he falls asleep tonight on Landry's couch. And thinking what better place to be than New York

By March 1st if
they all are healthy
Start

Baron
Fields
Melo
Amear
Tyson

And the bench

Lin
Shumpert
Jorts
And situational TD JJ JJ and Billy Walker
We could all see that working in a scheme
I would bet on that team.
Healthy thats all I ask.
And dont fire the coach give him a chance with the same team once for a whole season. Once.

If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

MDA often says he's going to change something next game, then the next game comes and he doesn't do it, so I wouldn't say Lin starting is a sure thing. Actually I'd rather have him coming off the bench for now- he has never practiced with the starting unit, and since they'll likely have a day off today, he's not going to get much of a chance to either. It was great to see him have such a good game, but don't rush him into something he's not ready for or you'll just damage his confidence.

93 Buick - Baron Davis should be handled with extreme caution, even AFTER he is able to play... IF he is ever able to play. Inserting him as the starter, and playing extended minutes, is asking for back trouble.

St Patricks Day Shift du Jour

Lin, stay thirsty my friend
Fields, with the sofa assist
Melo, as an efficient scorer
Amar'e, did somebody say pick and roll?
Chandler, "can't get enough, of that funky stuff"

Shumpert as The Microwave, go strong to the rack young man, go strong
Baron Davis, cameos until his muscles remember confidence. Absolutely NOT as a starter until he proves he can go 3 games in 5 days.
Jeffries, hold up... did he make a reverse layup?

Bonus
Harrellson, get well soon, need his rebounding, enough with the three's areddy, develop a mid range shot son

The rest can take a hike

once a knick always a knick
