I think there's a reason Lin didn't play much in GS and was cut twice before coming here as the last guard to get any minutes. But maybe he can play well until baron is ready and can be a nice backup.

At this point, in my mind, I don't count on BD playiing the rest of the season. With all the setbacks, it's not good to put so much hope in an old, injured player. If we get JR we could push anybody to 6 games in a series.

Miami isn't a guaranteed #1-#2. Philly and Indiana have been running **** around the league. That's the kind of fresh blood I want to play a series against. The veteran elite teams know how to win playoff games; it's different with a team like Philly that used to losing. The major advantage Philly and Indiana have had in the regular is a deep roster, but playoff rotations are cut to 8-9, which will help even things out for our team. No back-to-backs, which favors our team.

let's just make it our goal to get close to a 50% record by the All star break. We then get a week off, we'll see if Baron Davis is coming back, if we signed JR Smith, and if Jorts is fully recovered and whether Jeremy Lin is capable of making a steady contribution. If everything's fallen into place (and thats a big if), we might be able to go on a tear.
