not sure who starts at SG next to Lin. Leaning towards Fields only because we need a backup PG until Davis returns. And Shump can hold down the fort over TD

What we want out of him is to be a glue player on a team of stars. Everyone can't have a shooter's mentality.

Amare and Carmelo are supposed to be our closers - and the only players on the team with a license to shoot. The other folks should only aim to score if it's in the flow of the offense.

He's just on a hot and lucky streak.
He's an 8th man at best on a championship team.

Beg to differ techno. Everyone, stars included, should score in the flow of the offense. No exceptions.

Another reason Fields doesn't suck- he lets his teammate Jeremy Lin sleep on his couch.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Most Valuable Sofa

Lin will repay Landry by looking for him on the break.

You think they are watching The Super Bowl together?

As long as he does not pass to him for a three in crunch time.

Or shovels something to Fishlips for a blown layup or a brick off his hands...

That is pre-Lin negative thinking. Amazing things happen when a player, even one named Jeffries, catches the ball in a position to operate.

Did you see that reverse layup?

The best thing is Jeffries will keep it moving on both ends of the court and I'm with that.

Sorry, I'm suffering from severe 1st round playoff exit flashback syndrome. With a touch of Fishlips channeling Charles Smith.

On the reverse layup that Lin assisted on, I was hoping that he give it back to Lin much like Chandler played the give/go earlier in the game.

Amen to that!

The Rise and Ressurection of 'Tom' Landry Fields is super sight to see! He's bringing positive energy and showing skills to help this
Knick team being a two-way player.

Rise of Fields

Rise of Knickerbockers!(knockers) we can only hope.

A cowgirl reference is so lame given the current state of affairs in the NFL.

Long Live the BBC

Lost in the Fear of Carmelo is Landry Fields steady play. In Minnesota, Fields scored 19 points on 8-for-10 shooting, grabbing four rebounds and dishing out four assists in the Knicks’ 100-98 win.

Landry mentioned the Lakers game was the most fun he ever had playing basketball.
