Yup! Let the excuses flow! We have the best frontcourt in the league! We have the rookie of the year at PG! While being led by an elite coach! But it just isn't fair....because......

he shouldve sat a long time ago. A big part of the reason we lost 7 of 8 is because Melo played when he should have shut it down for 2 games. He shuts it down after losing 7 of 8 and we are playing Miami.

Last 2 games Melo missed we got spanked by OKC and Memphis (2nd half). So which games would we have won without Melo?

Melo has been this team's most consistent performer. I'd blame Stats crappy play before Melo if anything.

Fair to say. He's also had to take alot of last minute bad shots getting the ball at the last minute. He's also contributed well in rebounds and gotten some assists though alot of that may be from having the ball so much. Look, it's a 7-12 team that has played an easy schedule thus far. The best performer on such a team usually isn't lighting the world on fire, but I really can't think of anyone else who has done more for the team right now.

their first 10 games were "easy" schedule-wise. last two weeks they've played, philadelphia, oklahoma city, orlando, miami, denver, memphis, etc. hasn't been a walk in the park, schedule-wise.

also, i think melo's problems can be directly traced to his wrist injury and being asked to carry too much of the playmaking load for the team. a playmaker, he is not. don't ask him to be one when he gets back.

This is the heroin situation again. Yea no one has done more because the team is addicted to melo and the only way it can function is with a fix of melo.

It's like saying shooting dope is good for you because nothing helps you feel better when you're dope sick.

If Amare won't step up it's on him. If Melo just stands there and passes the ball, you are going to say he's given up or doesn't care. He is what he is. COach needs to find a way to use him effectively which shouldn't be as hard as it is.

Overall we still have had an easy schedule, even without those games. No way Denver has half as much talent as we do. We should be better than Philly as well.
