Melo has been this team's most consistent performer. I'd blame Stats crappy play before Melo if anything.

Fair to say. He's also had to take alot of last minute bad shots getting the ball at the last minute. He's also contributed well in rebounds and gotten some assists though alot of that may be from having the ball so much. Look, it's a 7-12 team that has played an easy schedule thus far. The best performer on such a team usually isn't lighting the world on fire, but I really can't think of anyone else who has done more for the team right now.
their first 10 games were "easy" schedule-wise. last two weeks they've played, philadelphia, oklahoma city, orlando, miami, denver, memphis, etc. hasn't been a walk in the park, schedule-wise.
also, i think melo's problems can be directly traced to his wrist injury and being asked to carry too much of the playmaking load for the team. a playmaker, he is not. don't ask him to be one when he gets back.
