If you could press the Staples Easy button and erase any one individual on the Knicks, player or coach, if you press the button what will improve the team most on the spot?
Mike D'Antoni
Carmelo Anthony
Amar'e
Landry Fields
Toney D
D'Antoni's brother
Herb Williams
Mike Woodson

Sure, I'd take Ron for cheap.

But for real, I'd Fire D'Antoni with quickness and bring in somebody competent, passionate, and knows how to win. No way I'm giving up on my "big 3" this soon. Not unless Orlando wants to give me Dwight for Amar'e and Tyson.

if we choose the players, do we get to use the salary they are making to fill it in FA, before I pick my answer?

RonRon, might be able to play some PF for us, but his contract and production is weak. He might be a post option with his strength, width, but lack of height. He might be a poor man's LJ.

But at his price, I would much rather have Ariza because of his versatility and his combination of speed, quickness, agility and athleticism to be used in the open court. Its funny cause I made this name while I was a big fan of Ron Artest while he had a bit more speed and quickness to his game. In the end, we still need speed/quickness to go with his skill. He was once a SG/SF, with strength, and size and adequete speed. But right now he is an undersized PF
without the ability to block/steal.

They might both be able to help our team the way it currently sucks. AK47 might be a realistic option that will help our defense with his combination of length and athleticism with the 2.5 exemption. I am not sure if he would help our offense as much though....

Regardless, I think we need to play 2guards that are can penetrate, like how Sessions/Irving/Gibson are used.
I have been saying this in the beggining of the year, waiting patiently for Lin to get his practices in and watching TD and Bibby fail at this spot majority of their minutes played.

I would buy the heat fire Riley and Eric, coach them myself. The tres bitches would get DNP-CDs for the rest of their contracts.
TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

No, you just take one piece out, like in a vacuum.

This one is on Dolan and the shortsightedness of executing a long term plan.

I got the house cleaning for cap room and make a run at Lebron.

I got the signing of Amare.

Lets be real, we got Tyson using Billups contract. Nice move but it cost us amnesty.

I don't get the premature shortcut of the Melodrama and the destruction of integrity that led to Donnie leaving.

Donnie left was a clear indication he believed the team as constructed could not sustain success and depleted us of assets, which deplete opportunities.

His plan was likely just to get the best jersey-seller he could once the team cleared cap space. I don't think he failed at achieving his goal. Amare and Melo were the most profitable names available.
