Nah, this is Gallo's 4th year in the league, he's 23/24 years old- he's pretty much the player he is- I don't see him increasing his scoring by 13 points per game in the years ahead! He'll have games where he scores 30 odd points, but then he'll have just as many where he only scores 10- that's the kind of player he is.

LOL

Wow, this is so based on nothing seeing the guy never stopped to improve his game (O and D), came as a shooter, then morphed into a foul magnet driving machine...

Man, you gave a new meaning to biased there.

How am I biased? I like gallo, I just think people over rate him- is it really realistic to think gallo will average 30pts per game? Sure he improved each year, and that was fun to watch, but his scoring has stayed steady- also while he became great at drawing fouls, his 3pt shooting has declined. Players are pretty much what they are by their fifth year, sure they hone their skills a bit but they rarely radically improve.

Tell that to Chauncey Billups.

30 points a game? Why are you even mentioning such an idea? You know he's still improving and it's only his 4th year, right?

There's no reason it should. MS made the case quite well above.

I took his comment to mean that hopefully the threads stop now that Gallo is locked up for 4 years.

$42/4 years is very reasonable in my mind. Gets the extension shortly after torching us. Glad NY could at least give him one last gift.

Good for him. Good kid, plays hard. Plays team ball and was one of my favorite Knicks. Wish him success and Denver failure. That's all I have to say about it.
TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

I think that is a good deal for him. Also, maybe guys are liking the Denver situation now. It will be interesting to see what Chandler does when he gets back.

There is a huge difference between saying : he's pretty much the player he is

And the 30 pts per game that the other poster just threw in the air, and you know it.

The guy is just scratching the surface of his talent, I watched nearly every denver game since the trade and he's steadily improving by the day.

I'd bet baring no injuries, this guy will end up being multiple allstar.
Not 30 pts per game as it's no even his game, Gallo is more a playmaker than a scorer, but allstar without a doubt.

Now Denver fans will remeber Carmelo with a smile.
He brought then Galo and much more.
Good for them...

Ya they are probably the only people who like Dolan since he turned an ugly situation into a great one for them

Everybody in NBA like Dolan... He is charitable man who is always ready to make his own team a pile of crap to help other owners.
And he does.
