How sad is that? And people here thought we didnt need BD, Toney would be fine running the offense. LOL.

I think Toney's hurt worse that anyone knows.

That, and Melo was supposed to be the Point Forward, which I though started to work, and was a good idea.

I agree the Melo thing was a good idea as well. Toney Douglas may be hurt, but pain doesn't force you to chuck contestd 3 pointers.

Different Strokes

When our prototypical point forward Anthony Mason, he had guards like Doc Rivers to run with. Mase was an emergency outlet to advance the ball under token pressure.

With our lack of quality/ experienced guard candidates, Carmelo is less point forward and attempting to fill the role as the leading man.

NBA Defenses have gotten hip to that quick. It is no coincidence the Knicks attempt (and miss) the most shots as iso's.

I think people need to calm down a little with the whole baron davis is gonna make us a contender thing. yes i am hoping baron will give us what we lack at the PG position. Buts as others have said baron davis is coming off a back injury and he is not a 25 year old baron davis anymore. also as good as baron was he was never a steve nash or chris paul. I'm not trying to be negative im just being honest

Our problem is we have chuckers. We are relying on a chucker with obesity and chronic back problems to fix our chucking problems. Nice.

Chuck It?

The Knicks problem is dominant veteran players with ingrained habits that have neither the flexibility, innocence, skill sets nor TIME to adapt.

When this act goes on the road after the Denver game on Saturday, which will be on national television for all to make comparisons (fairly or not) it will decide it is time for a players only meeting.
