I think this is a really good move. I wish they wWould have done this with taurine. Also I believe nba teams still have to pay a fee for d-league players but do not have to pay tO bring up guys that have a roster spot.

Blake Ahearn is leading the league in scoring....he sucked on the Knicks summer league one year....might deserve a second look for someone in the NBA

Alot of guys in the d league have been dominating for years and still haven't been called up....one guy off the head is Walter Russell....he's been averaging 9 assist every year. He's gotta be better than some of the garbage in the league.

The Knicks need perimeter help...they should be able to comb the d league for talent. For alot of guys its just a dead end where good talent goes to rot

This is true. The D-League is a failure so far. I see guys drop crazy numbers but they never seem to get the call, and even if they get the call, they suck. The numbers just don't translate. It's too weak.

I remember reading about teams having to pay a fee to sign a d-league guy. It was why a guy like Earl Barron who didn't play there last year was signed over some guys (i.e. Sean Williams) who seemed like they might have a bigger impact on an nba team. I don't know if that changed with the new cba.

this Glen Grunwald-O emerson
or whichever or whatever the GM Knicks name is OR prez or whom runs the Knicks front office.
This Glen is to blame for some of these lame moves. Oh I forgot Glen came from the Isiah Zeke Thomas school of running
basketball business.

Why ? these moves ?
J.Lin is a guard dont they need that ? and as far as 7 footer Jordan from Kingston Jamaica,
the little he played he looked smart, played some D got some boards and showed a bit of
passing and intimidation on the court. OH I forgot D'Antoni doesnt like that! call it basics of hoops in basketball.

Glen Grunwald ?
I do not see Allan Houston in any of these moves transactions perhaps since Houston is working D'League
angle maybe Allan has some recommendations of D' League Guard or players which Knicks may look at to
help this team now.

So is the plan to continue giving Balk random burn (because Dolan's upset he's getting paid) until he gets on the all star ballot?

Good move. It is about time the Knicks start using their d-league team.

I am not sure how I feel about this move. I am pissed that they did not get a chance here now but I am happy they can at least get some playing time instead of rotting at the end of the bench.
