We've exhausted almost all resources to strengthen the team, yet we come out with the same, if not worse, result than we did pre-melo last year. Back then, it was bearable with the prospect of constant improvement from the yoots - without using assets to acquire better talent, we would still become better with time. BUT, our backcourt can only improve from what it is now. And we're only 12 games in as u point out, ram. So that's at least something to hold on to.
I agree. It is pretty frustrating. I also don't think management did D'Antoni any favors. Any coach needs a point guard, D'Antoni desperately needs one to run the offense he wants to run. If the organization is committed to him as a coach they needed to get him a point guard. I am the first, second and third guy in line to criticize D'Antoni but I don't think he was put in a situation where he can succeed this year. The Knicks got very lucky that Baron ended up signing in NY. Hopefully when he gets back on the court things start going better.
I am ridiculously excited for Baron Davis. Always liked him as a player and person. No mango. If healthy, he is one great movaphuckin addition.
