Would you feel this way if you were putting some cash money on it?

looking at philly so far this year they haven't really played anyone yet. they've played alot of the same "soft" teams the knicks have played but they've won the games, which is all that matters. plus they've blown a bunch of these teams out. good test, but i'm not sold on them yet.

These guys run like cheaters every chance they get, even off of made baskets, they defend well and are very atheletic. The knicks are bigger, stonger, and can match there athletisism, all we have to do is move the ball and play "D"..

Dig the Philly story but there soft schedule and gets softer! They got two games with the Wiz this month.

We are making progress but this is a big test for us.

Too early to label anyone in the league except a few door mat teams like Sac and the Wiz.

Our depth bothers me. TD hurt but seems he has to play thru it to get to the other side.

TD plays well we are good. If not its gonna suck.

"TD plays well we are good. If not its gonna suck."

Douglas has a bruised shoulder and a scratched ego. At home in MSG he is under an unforgiving microscope.

To win the fans back TD will need to be lights out shooting the ball and diving into celebrity row after loose balls. Rough business.

Sixers might be on the third night of a back to back to back, but they're deep and their players averaged about 20mins each last game, except Turner and Holiday who had just over 30. Our starters seem to be averaging about 40 per game! So don't expect it to be as big an advantage as it seems. The Sixers have had as easy a schedule as us so far, so hopefully they are just plump on false victories!

NOT unless the Knicks bench suddenly sprouts wings. It is a mismatch to the Sixers advantage.

Pass the ball.

The Knicks Actually Play A Good Team Tonight

http://nymag.com/daily/sports/2012/01/knicks-actually-have-to-play-a-good-team-tonight.html

But the Knicks still haven't beaten a good team (sloppy Christmas Day game aside), and have lost to several bad ones. Tired or not, the 76ers are a good team. Even with the three wins, Knicks fans are justifiably a bit skeptical about this heralded team. A win over a Philadelphia, "best team in the NBA" or not, would certainly quiet some doubters. And it'd have the pleasant side effect of taking out a major Atlantic Division rival. We'll have a better idea of where the Knicks stand at this point of the season after tonight, no matter what happens.

Knicks usually play up to the level of the team they play. Very rarely do they wilt against good teams. I would expect that they'll play with pride and give max effort. Philly hasn't really been facing the toughest comp either. NOH, Det, Tor, Sac. Only the Pacers could be considered a good team out of the last 5 games.

They've been better than the Knicks but I wouldn't get too carried away with any team this early season. There's so many teams that are playing up and down or just down in this early season. Even when teams beat the Knicks early it doesn't mean that they're good, just that the Knicks played poorly. Still it's a good test for both teams. Knicks need to play well and defend homecourt. They blew two at home already.

Mike Dantoni blames the Knicks' home struggles on karma.

It's impossible to sound any more desperate than he does.

you really think he's desperate? he gets fired here, he keeps his money and gets another head coaching gig. i think desperate is the last of his emotions right now.
