You see everyone facing the ball and seeing the floor. They're helping to shutdown lanes and close out on shooters better, cuz now they're not so out of position that they can't get to their man. They just need to keep that up and keep improving on it.
Not to be a negative nancy but I know this team too well. Tonight Bobcats are going to rape us. We are going to play man and switch our self's into mismatches. We are going to fall behind and start chucking three's. But hey I hope I'm wrong. I really do. I just feel this team takes one step forward on D and 3 steps back.
Well overall the team never gave up the big quarter so your prediction didn't hold true completely. We've got some guys that are poor defenders and so there will be letdowns. Still they did the job on D and that's what counts. If the Knicks had hit a few more shots this game isn't even close. This teams D has improved, but we can't expect perfection just yet.
+1. I'm glad they did better job. They did make some stops. If we can stop self inflicting mismatches. The defense would look even better. We will know what this Defense is really made of when we play Chicago,Miami, Indy or Philly. But I did like what I saw. Just need to cut so much of the switching and creating mismatches.
