didn't we rescind orangeblobman's gamethread privileges last season when the Knicks lost every game he started a gamethread for?

i think we did. i this OBM's work? missed that. oops. still classic.

admittedly, circumstantial evidence, but this reads like the workings of a maniac

i grew to enjoy OBM after initially hating him. no wonder i got such a chuckle out of the thread title.

I lost all respect for him when he started his racist, prejudiced, homophobic, etc. posts. I'll give him credit for his subtlety but it was obvious if you paid attention... pulled stuff like that to set people off.

didn't notice that myself, but if he did do that it's terrible. maybe he's learned lesson?

with that said, i figured this guy was obm from reading his other posts, but this just solidifies the fact. welcome back, obm. like evil said, you definitely grew on me, so hopefully you're here to stay this time.

example. maybe he's learned. not trying to chase him off

if the Knicks lose this one, the loss of gamethread privileges should be maintained though. The Knicks underperformed everytime he started a gamethread. I am changing my gamepicker to a loss

Oh I remember that. I believe I begged Martin to lock all of this game threads even if he was the first to post them.

It will be good to catch Shump again. I missed most of the opener so this I'm really looking forward to this one.

Should be interesting to see how Amar'e moves with the team, if his approach has changed at all.

And what will happen to Jorts, what is his role now? How many minutes do you expect him to play?

I don't think that STAT's approach was necessarily the problem. It's a new season and he's a slow starter. He wasn't totaly focused on movement, spacing, etc. The biggest problem was that he was not hitting open looks. No one has been for the most part. It will come......starting tomorrow night.

Sounds good to me. He needs just one strong game to shut the critics up.

yeah, i remember noticing that about him earlier on in his posting. he was very subtle. a professional troll. i try to keep a "don't feed the trolls policy." i probably stayed out of the particularly tasteless **** that was said.

The season starts tomorrow now that we are almost at full strength. I will lump the first 5 games in with the preseason. It's time to start winning especially with the softest part of the schedule.

Howard Beck:

"The most compelling action on the Knicks’ practice court Tuesday came 30 minutes after practice ended. There, in a spirited game of 3-on-3, Amar’e Stoudemire and Iman Shumpert traded passes and slick drives. "

Iman and Amar'e will hook up for easy baskets tonight. Amar'e for 25 points.

You got to crawl before you can walk. You got to walk before you can run.

The Knicks have four players who can be trusted. The work-in-progress offense and foul-prone defense are rough.

Our guys are still learning how to walk.

It will be Valentines Day before they can think about running (or winning) on a consistent basis.

As Toronto demonstrated, at home no less, there are no soft spots on the jam-packed schedule. You better bring quality depth, which the Knicks DO NOT have, to the party.

I attribute the Toronto loss to being a one man show with melo trying to carry the team. Also bibby's inability as backup PG to keep the offense going. And in a game where we were short handed and playing from behind I expected to see 3's just not 35

Whenever a team scores 11 points in a quarter, I attribute this to a lack of energy. Mental energy. All other things, I throw in the garbage at that point.

Or it was a fix.

What will happen tonight is anyone's guess.....
I have absolutely no "feel" for this team right now....
and my performance on the GamePicker is a testimony to that!

I'd LOVE for this team to get "on track" but I am resigned to the
fact that it'll take another 10-15 games before we see the true 2012 NYK team.

They're a tough team to gamble on right now.

Nice! Enjoy it! Are you taking the.... Oh never mind.

If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.
