haven't the Knicks already answered this question with Lin acquisition?

if Lin is the answer lets see him get some minutes. i dont think bibby is the answwer and I dont think douglass is either. it boils down to patience vs risky move with arenas. How risk averse are the knicks?

the video shows us that Gilbert doesn't have speed, quickness, lost lift/explosion/athleticisim, and shows how many times he actually pushes off to get his shot off.
Its not a debate of whether he is better than TD or Bibby, which both don't have the ability to penetrate, as neither is the answer.
It doesn't help that we don't have a SG without Iman that can penetrate, handle the ball, and take the pressure of the PG.
Odom is a player that can help, even David Lee can somewhat play point forward.
We need at least 1 player that can penetrate at all times and 2 players in the starting lineup, with speed/quickness.
It is sad that Jeremy Lin is the only player that isn't injured that can do this, I think he should get a look to run the offense if we go down big like our last 2 games.
We needs a chance and we have to see what he is capable of, as we know we don't have anyone else that can penetrate to the paint.
I don't care how he is looking in practice, TD and Fields showed us that they weren't capable of doing it from last year till now.

I wonder if they will keep Lin around after his 10day contract. We're almost half way through and he's played a total of 2 garbage time minutes out of 96 garbage minutes

Pffft....who knows. It will depend on how he looks in practice.

I don't see why he hasn't seen meaningful minutes. Why not just throw him out there, can it be worse than it is now?

Lin a 10-day contract? He was picked off waivers so he has the same contract he signed with Warriors or Rockets. All I know is we would have to waive him before some point of february, I believe, in order for the contract to not count against our cap.

I think because even guys like Felton and Billups couldn't get it on day 1.

Lin not on 10-day contracts.
