I'm glad you bring Howard up.

If I'm the Knicks, I'm making any deal necessary to get Howard in here. This includes trading either Amar'e or Melo.

Yep, and then we'd no doubt give Howard TWO GAMES before we started throwing him under a bus.

If someone came to me and said "here, who will you build your team around, you can choose anyone", I wouldn't consider any players other than LeBron and Dwight.

Dwight would suck in this team if we lack good PG play. We don't need to trade Amar'e and Chandler, we need good PG play to get this team really going.

Why do fans always think trades can solve all problems?

Also think Changing coach can too.

We used Felton and Chauns to get other things.

IN Baron we trust.

Why do I get the feeling you are almost enjoying this, and that you hated the Melo trade?

Hopefully they look like the team they're supposed to be against the Lakers tonight.

Cash - wish corrections were that simple. In this strange sprint season there are no practice days. Any adjustment will be made during game conditions. This makes coaching a gameday thing. Whether n shootaround or on a game audition basis, d'antoni cannot afford to lose the respect of his vets or the trust of his yoots.

January will be ugly. Why?

I agree but it's 1 game. They looked fine against the Celts and played like dog crap last night. Let's see what our boys in blue do tonight.

We need a PG and other players to be able to penetrate the basket.
We need shooters to spread the floor.
This is where losing Iman hurts, hes the only player capable of attacking and penetrating.
We need guards that can stop our opponents from penetrating.
This is where I really thought Barea could have helped.
We need to have 2 players that can penetrate the basket together on the court ATM.
The game will open up after we can do that, TD and Fields are already exposed that they can't do it.

Cash - the Knicks fell apart the moment Boston decided to play defense. The only thing that saved us was Carmelo going off in the final quarter for 17

it's not whether we win or lose, it is how we play the game

give me 20+ assists and our lead guard with more than 2

they aren't running any offense. at all. the second unit ran plays for a little while there in the 2nd quarter, but Melo and Amare both grind the offense to a halt.

they can with a coach that can be more creative offensively and not fool us with smoke and mirrors.

maybe. but their games are totally similar.

only way i could see it working with them on the floor together is to put melo in the post and have amar'e in the high post. which... i don't even know if that makes sense...

Right now their games look similar, but when Amar'e has the right PG partner, he does look different, a monster in the paint. The answer may still be in the PG, but things are getting so messy its harder to see.
