Great point. Doc Rivers incited those roughing incidents by reiterating several times that they were soft and getting pushed off their positions. He came back with Oneal and Bass, which changed the demeanor of the game. The team will have to be watchful of this and be better prepared the next time.

Any other season, he would be suspended. But the league has to brush this under the radar because it's the last thing it needs after the lockout.

So KG gets a pass? OK, when someone on the Knicks gives an opposing player the ol' choke-push, the league had better not have anything to say about that, either.

It's ridiculous....

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

So this behavior is acceptable? I can't wait to play the bean****s again and the have Tyson Chandler choke-slap Garnett.

But chandler gets a T in the game for coming outta his seat is his first game cause of a bad call
Garnett is a fake tough guy and needs to get slapped up by someone, I F'in hate em.
He's constantly cursing during games, he's cursing while guys are taking free throws, and he's hands down one of the dirtiest players.

If a knick had done that they would have banned every orange white and blue jersey within a 50foot perimeter. Any knick that had two eyeballs trained on that would have been instantly suspended from all 2012 playoff games with extreme prejudice.

There is no conspiracy against the Knicks.

The league doesn't want to make a big deal about any scuffles right now because they don't need any more negative publicity after the lockout.

So what would have warranted a suspension last season will be brushed under the rug this season.

It's amazing how much of a shell of his former self KG is. There was a time when he averaged in the mid-teens in rebounds. Now he's just this tenacious jerk. With no Pierce/Green/Perkins/BigBaby, he should be the primary orchestrator from the post. Just a big drop-off.

It's only a couple days into the season. I wouldn't yet say he is exactly 'toast' but he certainly doesn't seem to be able to explode like he used to. Lotta wear on those knees.

This man has been my fav 'villan' to dislike for many years. You gotta respect the player if not his game though. Nothing makes me happier than to see him lose and "mos' definitely" losing to the Knicks is a dream scenario Him and Pierce.
