I got a better idea, how about Toney Douglas doesn't take 19 shots.

Charlie Bell amnestied by GSW? Didn't they use the amnesty on another player before? Can't you use the amnesty only once?

Warriors waive Bell under new amnesty provision

Posted Dec 11 2011 6:57PM
OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) -- The Golden State Warriors have waived guard Charlie Bell under the new amnesty provision, wiping his remaining contract from the salary cap and avoiding any luxury tax penalties.

The Warriors also announced Sunday that the qualifying offer to forward Reggie Williams has been rescinded. The moves give Golden State more space to sign another free agent. Teams can only use the new amnesty clause on one player a year.
Bell never reported for training camp. Authorities said Bell showed up intoxicated at a Thursday court date for a drunken driving arrest in Michigan. He already is facing a one-game suspension without pay after pleading no contest to reckless driving in California.
Bell appeared in 19 games for the Warriors last season, averaging 1.7 points in 9 minutes per contest.

I guess no to Charlie.

There are no rumors YET, knickfan.
Just me doing my homework.

I am sure that Glen Grunwald is doing his, too.

Give Lin a chance on a 10 day contract, Glen.
This is a great kid with a high BB IQ and true PG skills.
(Could develop into a poor man's Steve Nash?......and with the possibility
of Nash coming here next year......)

Lin is another no brainer, but Knicks just don't seem to want to think outside the box in regards to personnel.

Actually, Matt, I believe that Glen actually IS thinking outside the box!
His creative thinking is how we got Tyson and he was instrumental in signing Mike Woodson.
Given his due diligence, I have to believe that Grunwald is aware that Jeremy Lin is available.
I'd LOVE to see us sign this kid for a look see.

How many people anticipated the acquisition of Tyson Chandler?

The potential of Iman Shumpert?

The lovability of Josh Harrellson?

The Landry-ness of Mr. Fields?

No, the thinking of Donnie Walsh/ Glen Grunwald has been WAY outside the box.

That is my thinking, Guns....and he may STICK since he has true PG skills
and he could tutor under BDiddy this year and under Nash if that happened next year.....

Al Iannazzone @Al_Iannazzone 24m

D'Antoni said knicks will look to add another guard. A Nate Robinson return is unlikely.

Appearently, the Knicks are looking to add a pg now.....

I don't see that great of a difference between Patty Mills and Jeremy Lin's passing abilities. I think Mills is the superior offensive player in total though. If the choice is between the two I would favor Mills. He's more athletic and has played against far stiffer competition

It's nice to have choices, no?
Let the guys who make those decisions on player vs. player earn their money, then.
Let's see how this unfolds.
For my money, I'd grab Lin in a heartbeat.

Antonio Daniels would be a good temporary fit. What's the deal with Redd? Thats a guy I'd look at later.
