I feel like people sometimes forget how good Hakeem was, because he played at the same time as Jordan, who was Jordan, and Shaq, who had an outsized personality which the media loved. Also, he played for Houston which doesn't carry the same cachet as playing for NY, LA, Chicago, and Boston. He's easily a top-5 center all time, ranked behind Wilt, Kareem, and Russell, and there hasn't been another center, maybe another big man, who was as good as him.
Now the joy of my world is in Zion
How beautiful if nothing more
Than to wait at Zion's door
I've never been in love like this before
Now let me pray to keep you from
The perils that will surely come
