He started for us in the Isiah years, and he can be the 9th or 10th guy without a problem now.

Dude has some unique skills that will look nice when everyone else on the floor is a star.

eddy curry also started for us in the isiah years. i'm open to balkman earning a spot. but earn it he must.

Best team we have had in my lifetime......... Born in may of 73 so last championship team!

Love Ewing and his teams but Patrick never had a second star

We have 3 of the top three in their respected position in the L on one team!

I also really feel Shump ends up steal of draft and Baron healthy could be scary!

Fields is best rebounding G in NBA TD hits mad threes ....... If any of our bigs on bench
Step up we could be as deadly as any team ever!

Just saying best case scenario!

KNICKS on the way UP!!!

Yeah, I have no clue what Phil is thinking. Half of me thinks he really wants to coach the Knicks next year, because of his obvious ties to the team and because he feels he would have everything he needs to win another title and be a hero in NY. But the other half of me can't help but think that he is sitting in his ranch in Montana (or wherever he lives), just enjoying the good life without any pressure. I mean, to go from retired out west to moving to NY to take what would be the most pressure-filled job in sports is a pretty radical change.

I think Phil Jackson is the type of person that would appreciate taking his career full circle. I don't think that he would want to have a long term assignment... but a chance for one last chip and an opportunity to train his successor. If he gets Dolan to agree to sign, say, Brian Shaw as Jackson's successor, I say Phil comes

okay, i like Jorts a lot. but you're joking, right? he's a solid bench guy. Kevin Love could be second team all NBA this season.

Lets clarify....Jorts can fill that charles oakley role as a rugged PF off the bench, giving hard fouls, taking a charge, and throwing his weight around.

His similarity to Love is that he doesn't have an athletic build, with an underrated jump shot...even out to the 3 pt line and beyond. That doesn't mean he's Love's twin....I'm just giving my opinion of his ceiling as a rugged PF with 3 pt range, who can rebound.

BTW....Kevin Love wasn't second team all star during his first preseason game or even his rookie year.....I said a mix between two players (not someone who's currently on Loves level right now), which means at worst he may just turn into a Charles Oakley type role player....Which still exceeds my expectations.

Personally, I think Shump could be the next D.Wade....Right now, he's just Shump the rookie. Later he might be Shump the superstar. Comparisons are just a fun way to visualize ones ceiling / potential. Nobody ever becomes exactly like another player!

Forgive me, but I'm just on a high right now with how quickly we went from the laughing stock of the NBA to a title contending team! That reminds me....LIGHT UP!

Pass me some that stuff your smoking, cause its obviously the good ish. Oakley was an all-star and 14 and 12 in his prime. U certainly don't think thats Jorts worse case scenario do you?

You do realize that our Star Center hasn't even put up those kind of numbers, ever in his career although he was close at one point, don't you?

I mean I guess your adjusting for inflation, or the lack of dominant bigs in the league or, your just puffing too much of that good ish.

As did Stephon Marbury, Steve Francis, Malik Rose, Jerome James, Jared Jeffries, etc. Also, Balkman only started one game for us, in 06-07.

Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come
