i actually thought he looked pretty good on Dallas last year.
Hes brought it to play limited minutes.
He knows how to use his body and size vs the 2nd squad.
He is always a threat, that can be left open.
At least u know what u are getting out of him.
I am just saying, Deshawn Stevenson or Mo Evans fits that role you are talking about.
However, I feel we could use a deep threat as well.
Having Crawford come here, "trying to earn a better contract"
I have issues with that. If we wanted a shooter Peja is there for the vet minimum?
While Peja actually has a high bball IQ and plays team ball.
And like I said, some of us saw Peja play, I believe they stopped playing
Somewhere in the playoffs, they stopped playing him in Dallas.
I always hought Peja would fit in Dantoni's system...
Shawne Williams can play some for defense SG/SF/PF
not the quicker ones, especially off dribble.
heres the problem, we don't have many true SF/PF back ups JJ is there but I don't consider him an option =T
Shawne fits the 3 better
but we kind of need a SG as well.
Adding Hunter is great, he is considered a legit PF/C
but I think with a shortened season, u need another while the rooks develop
Ak47, I wonder what he is looking to make this season? Not all team's are willing to hand out MLE's like nothing anymore...
I think its somewhere between 2-5m at a 2year deal, 3 only if if it is in the range of 2-3.
Contract's aren't suppose to be given out easily anymore, that's one of issues the new CBA intended to fix.
Then Kwame Brown gets payed 7m LOL
Kris Humphries isn't getting any love and Dalembert seems to be outbidding himself every rumor and teams are sick of him.
I smell Jerome James in Dalembert, that's why he wanted a big contract and for the max amount of years.
While Humphries isn't nearly as talented, skilled, or even big compared to centers, he plays right.
I believe he is undersized, listed 6'9, but I think hes actually shorter.
He is tough guy, I feel bad for the guy. Who hasn't been hurt before? But to have the situation played out on reality TV is like 10x worse
The way Kim, filed for divorce, came out of left field for him, letting him find out by rumors/internet...
Lakers would be a decent option for him for 4 years, if 8m, *Odom's exception"
Of course, this also mean's playing side to side with Dwight Howard.
Orlando seems to want both, Howard and Bynum?
Same for New Orleans and Clippers, both team's want to follow in Denver's footstep and keep pushing the issue...
Yes, they are giving up the best player in the deal, what New York did was Dolan accepted was HORRIBLE.
I have to give it up for Grunweld, surrounding New York back with depth, and giving us what we needed the whole time!
Not only did he get us the position we needed most, but we got the best FA and the one that suited us best of course aside from DH.
This whole New York thing with Melo, the team's that really shouldn't have much power, don't want to get pushed around!
In fact, they are the ones doing the pushing, I hope Cp3 stays hurt all year and just signs with a team to stick it in Stern.
Cp3 and Dwight Howard aren't staying, I believe neither wanted to leave though.
However, New Orlean's took a big step backwards when they traded Chandler away.
West needs that big body to protect him and Cp3 misses his presence a lot.
However, I noticed Cp3, was focused more on scoring, that year Chandler was traded.
That year, he was ready for an extension, and I am not sure if he wanted to boost his value with scoring, or he felt he had to take over offensively.
He stopped connecting with Chandler for alley oops and used the pick and roll with Chandler, without using Chandler as a scoring option.
Chandler was also hurt that year and eventually got shipped out.
The following year Cp3 gets hurt and Cp3 made NO choose between Collison and Cp3.
I admit that I thought New Orleans first package wasn't good for a rebuilding team but the GM is the GM.
Stern took a page out of Dolan, stepping in out of where from left field, and after terms were agreed upon.
I am not sure, it the trade was actually submitted or just reached a verbal agreement.
However, if Demps is the GM, and it was submitted, Stern shouldn't have the authority to do so.
As commissioner of NBA, that would be wrong, made his own rules, and made Demps look like a fool.
My point is if that was another GM, just say Knicks, and Grunweld made a trade, submitted, and Dolan didn't like it.
Can Dolan tell Stern to rescind the trade because he wasn't notified of the trade?
