apparently he was working out with the nuggets in denver. guess he wanted to go home.

but i agree. thought he was great, especially in the playoffs.

He said he wanted to come back here at the end of last season. Guess the team thinks Bibby is better.

Bibby shoots better but Carter plays tough D. I'd take Carter but as a back-up. We still need a starting PG.

I'd actually rather have Anthony Carter start than Bibby. AC and TD splitting pg duties would brin tough D and good change of pace.

I am not big on Bibby either. He can shoot 3's but I would rather use that money to resign Shawne Williams, if its for the exemption.
I would rather trade Turiaf for Sessions. Session's has an player option next year, which he probably will use to get a longer contract.

Cleveland could use Turiaf, after trading their Hickson and they have

4pgs

Irving
Baron Davis
Gibson
Sessions

I thought Twolves had more PG's but they only have 2 now with

Rubio
Ridnour which has 3 more years. at about 4m each.

Sessions would make sense for both teams Turiaf I am also interested in Anthony Parker. But depends at what they want in return for Parker. Having a shooter like Parker would ensure us of a shooter replacing billups as well. Throw in Walker too if they want.

Turiaf and Sessions makes the same amount of money as well.

What if they wanted Fields/walker/Turiaf?
for
Sessions and Parker, that would be an interesting one.

Would just make sense for both teams.

Then resign Shawne Williams for 2.5 exemption if we can. If we don't have the MLE, what is the best offers we can give him? and for how many years?
And Sign Sean Williams for to replace Turiaf.

they probably amnesty Davis and Gibson not really a PG, right? So that leaves Sessions to mentor Irving.

I don't see Bibby succeeding here. He looked slow as molasses last year. I think he's more of an insurance against not having any experienced guard. I think TD and Iman will overshadow him and take Bibby's minutes anyway.

If we have to take Heat trash, I would prefer Arroyo, who was a Heat player, once removed. i bet Bibby wishes that he stayed with the Wizards.

Arroyo would be a better fit in my opinion.

Is he gonna coach from the sidelines mabbe? Sport colorful headbands matching Clydes wardrobe choice? I don't see him actually stopping anyone from penetrating the lane. We run a zone with him having like a 3 foot circle?

Waste of cap space.

Bibby is shot he was horrible with the Heat I wouldn't mind him being a third string point guard but def not a starter or even splitting duties with Tony Douglas

they won't have any cap space left if it's any consolation. he'll be a veterans minimum deal.

Bibby is one of the best available FAs. As a stopgap we could do much worse.

Upon further review, he has better career 3 point shooting % than j Kidd, j Terry, p pierce and Nick van Axel. Those guys have made more 3 pointers in their career tho. He is # 15 on the list, if I am not mistaken. .381 career shooter with much better # in his last years . His 3 point prowess will be greatly appreciated. As long as his deal is reasonable I am ok with him at 1. Yes his d is dog doo-doo, but with TC and Amare we can funnel ppl to the hoop and still have good defense.

IMO Mike Bibby is just insurance. He's probably going to be the 3rd guard off the bench. You can't be worried about Bibby, cuz TD and Iman are so much younger and more potent athletes. Bibby can't defend, so my guess is that he's not here to log heavy minutes. Why weaken the D when you have better defensive options known to play D?

If the only thing he has to do is bring the ball down and make an entry to pass to Melo and spot up then he is pure gold. If we ask him to do more we will be missing pg play all the way to Dudu.
